Obituary for Frederick E. Zacher
Frederick "Fred" E. Zacher, 58, of North Tonawanda, Sunday (April 18, 2021). Fred was born in North Tonawanda on August 3, 1962 to Kenneth and June (Reinbolt) Zacher. Fred worked for Durez Niagara and in his spare time he was an avid outdoorsman, Buffalo Bills, Sabres, and Alabama fan. He loved spending time with his family. Fred was funny and kind hearted to everyone he met and known to all as just a good guy. Fred was predeceased by his parents Kenneth and June Zacher, and his daughter Emily Zacher.
Fred is survived by his beloved wife Kathleen (Kirisits) Zacher, loving father of Sara (Edward Armold) Zacher, and Luke Zacher, grandfather of Evelyn Zacher, brother of Connie (Bob) Lutz, and Yvonne Zacher, brother in law of Pete (Buffy) Kirisits. Also surviving are his uncles, many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Wednesday from 5-8 P.M. at the Wattengel Funeral Home, 533 Meadow Drive, North Tonawanda, NY, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 A.M. In lieu of flowers Fred would want you to spend special time with your loved ones.
