Marine Corps; he was employed as an equipment operator with the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 463. Althea E. (Walck) Haseley, age 86, of Wheatfield, was called peacefully in her sleep, to her heavenly home on Monday, January 7, 2013, while at the Northgate Health Care Facility. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, on August 8, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Erich and Eleanor (Stoelting) Walck.
Althea was a 1943 graduate of LaSalle High School, and later in life was employed at the Bon-Ton Department Store. She was a devoted Christian, wife and loving mother, raising five children. Althea was a life long member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, in Bergholz, where she served on the Altar Guild, spent time with the quilters and enjoyed sewing, cooking and baking.
Althea was predeceased by her husband, Albert H. Haseley on November 22, 2007. They were united in marriage on August 9, 1947; two sisters, Loraine (Winston) Moeller and Eleanor June (Marvin) Werth; and one brother, Gilbert (Shirley) Walck. Survivors include five children, Dale Haseley of Sanborn, Linda (Ron) Stevens of Wheatfield, Barbara (Vincent) Flow III of Kendall, NY, Janet Haseley of Brockport, NY and Joan (Stephen) Amico of Williamsville, NY; a brother, Albert (Helen) Walck; two sisters-in-law, Gladys Haseley and Lydia Stoelting; two brothers-in-law, Winston Moeller and Marvin Werth; loving grandmother of Laura (Christopher) Smith, Mark Stevens (Melissa Gerhardt), Katie (Adam) Godlove, Lisa (Brad) O'Connor and Vincent (Melissa) Flow IV; and great-grandchildren, Olivia Smith, Annette Smith, Alex Godlove and Sarah O'Connor; and several nieces and nephews.

WHEATFIELD - Gilbert E. Walck, 60, of Maple Drive, Wheatfield, died at his residence Monday (Aug. 22,1988). He had been ill for some time. A lifelong, active member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, Bergholz. Walck served as elder, trustee, choir member, past chairman of the school board, church secretary and member of the Lutheran Laymen's League. He was a designer and engineer at Union Carbide Corp. for almost 30 years and a member of the Bergholz German Band. He was an exempt member of the Bergholz Fire Co.
He is survived by his wife Shirley (Moll) Walck; daughters, Kathleen Thompson of Glastonbury, Conn., and Rebecca Berardi of Buffalo; sons, Michael Walck of Tonawanda and Larry Walck of Sanborn; sisters, Althea Haseley, Lorraine Moeller and June Wirth, all of Wheatfield; a brother, Albert Walck of Schenectady; three grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation.

She was a former secretary for Branch 965 of the Aid Association for Lutherans, now known as Thrivent, and worked on many other charitable activities, including the Big Brother and Big Sister program. her hobbies and interests included crafts, computers, singing, traveling, and her grandchildren.

She was a 1960 graduate of Niagara Wheatfield and was employed by the school district and Johnston’s Restaurant retiring in 2006. Jane was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, the Fellowship Committee, the Ransomville Rural Retirees, and the Red Hat Hatters of Niagara. OBITUARY

Wayne R. Walck of Sanborn, NY, went to his heavenly home on Thursday, October 7, 2021, in Buffalo General Medical Center.  
He was born in Niagara Falls, NY on March 5, 1943, the son of the late Rudolf A. and Jeanette E. [Mueller] Walck, Jr.
Mr. Walck graduated from Niagara Wheatfield High School and began working with his grandfather,  father, uncle and later with his wife and daughter on the family farm and vegetable stand.
He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church Walmore, Farm Bureau and a charter member of Niagara County  Milk Cooperative.
Mr. Walck enjoyed playing baseball, hockey, fast pitch softball, hunting and watching westerns.  He was an assistant coach on his daughter's softball team.
Mr. Walck is survived by his wife of 45 years Jean E. [Himmelback] Walck, they were married on November 13, 1976, his daughter Claudette Walck, a sister Lynn (Thomas) Wilson, his step mother Dorothy Walck also cousins, nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend his funeral services on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 6168 Walmore Road, Sanborn, NY, with the Rev. Thomas  Thorstad officiating.
Memorials may be made in his name to St. Peter's Church.
Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery.

Haseley "Victor" age 72 of Sanborn, NY went to his heavenly home on Sunday, December 18, 2022.Born on June 9, 1950, son of the late Albert and Althea (Walck) Haseley.Dale was a lifelong member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church in Bergholtz NY and served as Elder, Usher and cemetery lawn mower.Dale graduated from Niagara Wheatfield High School in 1968 and earned an Associate Degree in Accounting from NCCC. Dale retired from Durez as a chemical operator in 1994.Dale loved the outdoors and owned a hunting cabin in Centerville NY since 1978, He enjoyed gardening, hunting and planted thousands of pine trees on his land in Centerville.Dale is survived by his sisters Linda (Ronald) Stevens, Barbara Flow, Janet Haseley and Joan (Stephen) Amico. Niece Laura (Christopher) Smith, nephew Mark (Melissa) Stevens, niece Katie (Adam) Godlove, nephew Vincent (Missy) Flow IV, niece Lisa (Brad) O’Connor and 12 great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother-in-law Vincent Flow III.Friends may call at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, on Thursday (Dec. 22) from 4-8 p.m. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Denton White, on Friday (Dec. 23) at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, corner of Niagara Road and Luther Street in Bergholz. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
