Philip J, Schultz, 83, of 2203 Linwood Ave. died at his home late Friday (Jan, 8, 1960).
Born in Bergholtz he had lived in this area all of his life and in Niagara Falls for the last 66 years.
Mr. Schultz worked for the Aluminum Company of America for 40 years. He was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, a charter member of the church Brotherhood and a member of the church board.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Wa1ter Williams, Maumee, OH, and Mrs. William Niese, North Tonawanda; a son, Arthur P. NORTH TONAWANDA - Rudolph F. Schultz of North Tonawanda, who at 91 was the oldest living exempt firefighter of the Sanborn Fire County, died yesterday (Jan. 9, 1984) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Schultz was a 42-year employee of the Carborundum Co. in Niagara Falls, 30 years as a foreman. He was a member of St. Paul Calvary Lutheran Church, 18tb Street and Cleveland Avenue, and held many church offices.
He is survived by his wife, Alma M. (nee Werth); a daughter, Mrs. William (Carol K.) Reib of the Town of Tonawanda; two sons, Richard Schultz of Warren, OH, and Wallace Schultz; and 10 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

NIAGARA FALLS - Edgar L. Schultz, 87, of Weston Avenue, died Dec. 21, 1993, at Niagara Falls Memorial Nursing Home after a short illness. A native of Niagara Falls, Schultz was born June 17, 1906, the son of Lebrecht and Auguste (Voelker)
He was employed as an accountant for more than 30 years with various businesses in Niagara Falls and enjoyed a second career with the Maid of the Mist Corp. for 21 years.
He was a member of St. Paul Calvary Lutheran Church.
In 1990, Mr. Schultz was recognized by Channel 7 as an Outstanding Senior Citizen.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth (Meyer) Schultz of Niagara Falls; two sons, Peter M. Schultz of Oswego and Jonathan M. Schultz of Lewiston; a brother, Alfred Schultz of Niagara Falls; a sister, Esther Greinert of North Tonawanda; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

NORTH TONAWANDA - Alfred E. Schultz, 97, of Nash Road, North Tonawanda, died on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 in DeGraff Memorial Hospital. Born March 14, 1913 in Niagara Falls, the son of Lebrecht and Auguste (Voelker) Schultz.

A graduate of Niagara Falls High School, Al worked in the order department of the bonded division of the Carborundum Company for 33 years, retiring in 1978.

A lifelong member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Niagara Falls, he served on various church councils and committees, including treasurer for 15 years. Al was a volunteer for Meals On Wheels for 25 years; an avid gardener and was active in bowling and softball for several years.

Al’s beloved wife of 66 years, Ruth D. Schultz predeceased him in 2004. Survivors include a daughter, Linda J. (Jay) Dillinger of Tampa, FL; two sons, James A. (Connie) Schultz of Fayetteville, GA and Paul T. (Joyce) Schultz of North Tonawanda; a sister, Esther E. Greinert of North Tonawanda; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Edgar Schultz and a sister, Gertrude L. Roesener.

He was a past council president of St. Paul-Calvary Church, a post he held for nine years. He was a past chairman of the church Worship Committee, a member of the church choir and a member of the board of directors of Meals on Wheels in Niagara Falls.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; a son, John of North Tonawanda; two sisters, Gertrude Gombert of North Tonawanda and Helen DeVantier of Warren, Mich., and two grandchildren.

Wallace H. Schultz, age 96 passed away peacefully on December 21, 2022. Born November 27, 1926, he was the son of the late Rudolph and Alma (Werth) Schultz. A beloved husband, father and grandfather. Survived by his wife of 70 years, Margaret ‘Jean’. He was born at Deaconess Hospital,Buffalo NY due to neonatal respiratory complications he wasn’t expected to live. While attending LaSalle High School, Wally served in the “Aircraft Warning Service” from late 1943 to early 1944. His observation post was a small hut located on top of the Sanborn Fire Hall. In August 1944, Wally enlisted in the Navy at the old post office building in downtown Buffalo, followed by Boot Camp at Sampson Naval Training Station atSeneca Lake, NY and a 12 week Radio School at Bainbridge MD. He served in thePacific Theater aboard the USS Arkansas BB33 and the USS Baldwin DD 624. In June1946, Wally returned to Niagara Falls, graduated from LaSalle High School andwent to work as a Mail Boy for American Salesbook Co. (later became MooreBusiness Forms). Spring 1947, he transferred to the NY National Guard and drilledat the Armory on Main Street. After his discharge from the National Guard, Wallygraduated from the Detroit College of Traffic Management and worked at Autolitewhere he met, then married the love of his life, Margaret Jean MacAllister.Following Autolite, he worked in the traffic departments at Hooker Chemical andThe Upson Company in Lockport. While at Upson, Wally was hired part-timeby Franklin Traffic Service (FTS) in Sanborn. After Upson closed he worked at FTS full time. Where he retired after working for many years. He was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran church in Niagara Falls. Wally enjoyed hunting with his family. In his later years if he shot a deer, over the two-way radio he’d say, “Boys I have work for you, but first, bring me a sandwich and beer”. He and Jean spent summers with family and friends at their homes in Saranac Lake and later on Lake Ontario. In his retirement Wally enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing and a few weeklong fishing trips in Canada. He will be dearly missed but his legacy continues through his family.

TOWN OF WHEATFIELD — Dolores Lydia (Moll) Andrees, age 86, of the Town of Wheatfield, died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on April 13, 2011. Dolores was a lifelong member of St. John Lutheran Church and enjoyed being active in various church activities, such as choir and the Ladies Aid. She worked in food service preparation for the Niagara Wheatfield School District until her retirement. Two of her favorite hobbies were gardening and flower arranging.

Dolores was the daughter of the late Edward J. and Lydia (Schimschack) Moll; and the sister of the late Shirley M. (Gilbert) Walck. Dolores is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, William A. Andrees; two sons, Gary W. (Gail) Andrees, of Akron, NY and David L. (Marianna) Andrees of North Tonawanda; and a daughter, Susan B. (Michael) Kenyon of St. Mary's, GA; also surviving are four granddaughters, Christy Dunn, Gina Andrees, Natalie Andrees and Bethany Andrees; and two great-grandchildren, Carlton Carter and Rileigh Dunn.

Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd, in North Tonawanda, on Sunday from 3-8 PM. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM from St. John Lutheran Church, Ward Road at Niagara Falls Blvd. The Rev. Ronald Oravec will officiate. Interment in St. John Lutheran Cemetery. Shirley M. Walck (Moll), age 77, of Niagara Falls, was called to her heavenly home after a brief illness, on January 12, 2009 at Kenmore Mercy Hospital. Born in North Tonawanda, Niagara County, NY on July 10, 1931 to the late Edward and Lydia (Schimshack) Moll. Shirley was predeceased by her loving husband, Gilbert E. Walck on August 22, 1988.She was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wheatfield, where she participated in many volunteer activities. Obituary of Rolf Pollock

Rolf R. Pollock, son of the late Robert & Gertrude (Nemeschy) Pollock of Town Line, NY, resided in the town of Porter, passed over to be with his son Eric L. Pollock, family and friends on March 15, 2018.
Rolf of 72 years, a few tears, and hairy ears, was born on August, 22nd 1945, in Buffalo, NY. He is survived by his sons, David E. Pollock, Michael E. Pollock, Jeffery A. Pollock, Joshua N. Pollock, and his daughter Brianna R. Pollock. He is also survived by his grandchildren Arianna R. Billings, Gabriel N., Kendall R., Adrianna, and Kimberly Pollock.
Rolf, who was known as "Ralph" by some people, who never learned how to pronounce Rolf, spent his childhood in Clarence, NY, and Chandos Lake, Ontario, Canada. He graduated from Clarence Central High School with honors. He went to College in Emporia, Kansas. Rolf grew up with activities centered on his church, and was the President of the Luther League at Town Line Lutheran Church in Alden for two years. He played football at Clarence Central, was a hunter, fisherman, and avid swimmer. He spent every summer at the family's island on Chandos Lake, Where he spent most of his time on or in the lake.
Rolf had many jobs, hobbies, and talents as he grew up. Rolf was the owner of The Holland Station, in Lancaster, NY where he sold craft supplies and taught art and craft classes. He was also an accomplished wood worker and had his own wood shop. After moving to The Town of Porter, Rolf and his partner Richard Yates of Sanborn, NY invented the "Wizzer Board". They Incorporated as Triple R Publications and became a multi state advertising business, publishing "Tavern Talk". Then Rolf decided to travel each and every highway, to see America and became a truck driver. He retired after becoming ill, after one and a half million miles without one accident or moving violation. Try that!
