LEWISTON NATIVE DIES HERE AT 83
Henry J. Haseley a native of Lewiston. and a retired Carborundum Co, employee, died yesterday (May 5, 1955) at his home, 623 Pasadena Ave., at the age of 83. He had been ill for' approximately one year. Mr. Haseley had lived in this city for 30 years. He was retired from Carborundum in 1942 after 25 years as a fireman. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Pauline Haseley; threes daughters Mrs. Bessie Ziehm, North Tonawanda;
Miss Lena Haseley and Miss Gertrude Haseley both of this city, and a son, Henry Haseley Jr. also this city. He is also survived by a sister, Mrs. William Broeker, North Tonawanda, and two brothers, Emil Haseley, this city, and Hubert Haseley, Sanborn. He was a member of St, Peter's Lutheran Church, Walmore road, Funeral services will be held at the Lane Funeral Home Sunday at 2 p.m., and at St Peters Church at 1:30 pm. The Rev. Martin Pempeit, pastor of; the church, will officiate. Interment will be in St. Peter's Cemetery,

BUFFALO - A former Niagara Falls resident, Henry E. Haseley, 56, of 35 Commonwealth Ave., died today (May 12, 1976) in Veterans Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Bergholtz, he lived in the LaSalle section of Niagara Falls for 35 years before moving to Buffalo. Mr. Haseley served in the U. S. Army during World War II and was awarded a purple heart during the invasion of Italy. He was active in local baseball circles. He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Walter (Bessie) Ziehm of the Town of Wheatfield, and Lena and Gertrude Haseley, both of Buffalo. Funeral services will be held Friday at a time to be announced from the Lane Funeral Home with the Rev. Daniel Otto officiating. Interment will be in Elmlawn Cemetery, Town of Tonawanda. Friends may call today 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
