Gothold A. Walck, 83, of 611 Sixth St., a retired carpenter, died Sunday (May 8, 1966) in Memorial Hospital. Born in the Town of Wheatfield, he lived most of his life In this area. He formerly worked for Wright & Kremers' Inc. and Treadwell Construction Co., Niagara Falls, retiring from the latter company in 1957. Mr. Walck held a life membership in the carpenters union here. He was a 40-year member of Grace Lutheran Church, Cayuga Drive. In addition to his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Walck, he is survived by a son, Donald Walck, Lewiston; two daughters, Mrs. William (Geraldine) Orr, Lewiston Heights, and Mrs. Everett (Emily) Wilson, Elmira; a sister, Mrs. William (Ella) Mavis, North Tonawanda, and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, with Rev W a l t e r Schultz officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Park, Tonawanda. Friends may call at the Cobler Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday

Geraldine W. Orr NF Gazette
LEWISTON - A memorial service will be held in Niagara Falls Wednesday at 11 a.m. for Mrs. Geraldine W. Orr, 58, of 5068 Woodland Drive, who died early Sunday (May 23, 1976). The Rev. Ronald D. Knapp will officiate at the service at Epiphany Episcopal Church, Main and Lockport streets. Private burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Mrs. Orr's body was found slumped in her car in the family garage Sunday morning by her husband, William W. Orr, a partner in the law firm of Orr, Brydges and Orr. Coroner Oscar Bell said the cause of death cannot be determined until he receives the results of a toxicology report in a week or 10 days.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, William W. Orr Jr., of Grand Island; two daughters, Elizabeth A. Orr of, Boulder, Colo., and Mrs. Stephen (Geraldine) Carpenter of Miami Springs; Fla.; her mother, Mrs. Gothold (sic) (Elizabeth) Walck of this city; one brother, Donald A. Walck of Lewiston; and one sister, Mrs. Everett (Emily) Wilson. of Elmira. The family will receive friends today 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the R. L. Coleman Funeral Horne, 640 Park Place. It is the family's wish that, in lieu of flowers, memorials be sent to Roswell Park Memorial Institute, Buffalo.

Donald A. Walck, 68, of North Tonawanda, a World War II veteran and retired Niagara County mental health director, died Friday (Sept. 10, 1993) in Buffalo General Hospital after a short illness.
He was born in Niagara Falls and was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School.
He served in the Army during World War II and fought in the Battle of the Bulge.
Walck graduated from Niagara University in 1950 and received his master's degree in social work from the University of Buffalo in 1952.
He worked for Family and Children's Services in Niagara Falls before becoming a clinical social worker for the county.
He was promoted to director of adult day treatment and then director of mental health. He was made the permanent director in 1974. He retired in 1987 after 31 years of service.
Walck is credited with playing a prominent role in the development of mental health services in Western New York.
He was an avid fisherman and sailor.
He is survived by two sons, Jeffrey of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Christopher of Arlington, Va.; and one granddaughter.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family
