Loretta G. Helling, 96, of Lake Placid, FL, died, November 1, 2009 at Fairway Pines Assisted Living Facility. She was born in Olcott, NY and came to Lake Placid, FL in 1998 from Wauchula, FL. In addition to being a mother and housewife, she worked hand-in-hand with her husband, Milton on their farm in the town of Cambria, NY. She was a member of the Peace Valley Lutheran Church of Wauchula, FL. She was predeceased by her husband, Milton and son, Gary and is survived by one son, James E. Helling of Palmer, AK; one daughter, Judy Cummings of Tucson, AZ; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Loretta and Milton will be laid to rest at the Cemetery of Saint Peter's Lutheran Church in Cambria, NY. A private service will be held at the grave site.
