    Ruth E. Milleville, 97, who enjoyed flower gardening, crocheting and refinishing furniture, died Wednesday (March 1, 2000) in CrestWood Health Care Center after a brief illness. Born Ruth Goerss in Wheatfield, she had been a resident of CrestWood since 1996. Her husband, Herbert A., died in 1982. Survivors include a daughter, Joyce Schroeder of Bergholz; a sister, Hilda Wittkop of Amherst; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 11 A.M. Friday in DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, Bergholz. Burial will be in Wheatfield Cemetery.

    Ruth married MILLEVILLE, Herbert August Heinrich in 1924 in Niagara County, NY. Herbert (son of MILLEVILLE, Wilhelm Ferdinand and DEVANTIER, Emma Magdalene Rebecca) was born on 20 Feb 1895 in Town of Wheatfield, Niagara County, NY; died on 16 May 1982 in North Tonawanda, Niagara County, NY.     Kenneth C. Schroeder, age 57, of Bergholz, was called to his heavenly home, unexpectedly, on Thursday, February 11, 2010 in Sisters Hospital, Buffalo. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on November 14, 1952 to Carl and Joyce (Milleville) Schroeder. He attended Holy Ghost Lutheran School and graduated from Niagara Wheatfield High School, Class of 1970. Ken continued his education, earning his Journeyman's Millwright degree. He was employed at Stoelting Machine from 1968-1973, Carborundum 1973-2002, afterwards at Ferro, and was presently employed as a mechanic with the Wheatfield Highway Department. Ken was a lifelong member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church in Bergholz, and a member of the Bergholz Fire Company. Hobbies included gardening, baseball and fishing.Survivors include his mother, Joyce Schroeder of Wheatfield; two sisters, Sherryl (Dana) Rimer of Bergholz and Christie (Michael) Scive of Wheatfield; a brother, Michael (Nicole) Schroeder of Ransomville; longtime loving companion, Judi Jagow of Bergholz; best friend, Christian DiRamio; and several nieces and nephews, Jennifer (Brian) Baney, Jessica Rimer, Michael Scive II, Andrew Scive, Matthew Scive, Alina Schroeder and Jack Schroeder. He was predeceased by his father, Carl Schroeder.Friends may call at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Road (Bergholz), in Wheatfield, on Sunday from 1-3 and 6-8 PM. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Philip N. Sallach on Monday at 10:30 AM in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, corner Niagara Road and Luther Street. Interment in Holy Ghost Lutheran Cemetery.
