George W. Camann, 50 years old, of Bergholz, died early this morning at the Memorial hospital, Niagara Falls. He was taken ill a few days ago and was operated on at the hospital yesterday for intestinal trouble.
Camann had lived in Bergholz practically all his life. He is survived by a wife, two sons, Carl and George, Jr.; four daughters, the Misses Doris, Natalia, Anita and Thelma; a mother, Mrs. Emily Camann, all of Bergholz; seven brothers, Charles C. Camann, Tonawanda; William and John Camann, LaSalle; Frank, Albert, Edwin and Harry Camann of Bergholz, and a sister, Mrs. Julius Stoelting, Bergholz.
The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the residence and half an hour later at the Holy Ghost church, Rev. John Kuchenbecker officiating. Interment will be in the Holy Ghost cemetery.

Walter Camann Dies At Home on 56th Birthday
Walter R. Camann died of a heart attack yesterday on his 56th birthday. A police inhalator rescue squad was called at 2:55 pm to the Camann home at 26 Paramount Pkwy. but was nable to revive him. Mr. Camann became a Town of Tonawanda Highway Department employee in August 1926. He joined the town police force five years later. He was a member of the 23-Year Club of the Town of Tonawanda Employes He was also a life member of the Sheridan Police Club in the township. Mr. Camann's wife, the former Clara Zimmerman, is a part-time employe in the town clerk's and the town assessor's offices in the Town of Tonawanda. He is also survived by two sons. John W, and Richard C. Camann, a brother, Alderman Melvin A. Camann of Tonawanda, and three grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are being completed at the Bury Funeral Home. 3070 Delaware Ave, Kenmore.

He was born Oct. 8, 1916, in Bergholz, the son of George and Wilhelmine (Urtel) Camann. A 44year employee at the Carborundum Co., Mr. Camann retired in 1979 as a manager in the inventory and production control department. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church on Old Falls Boulevard, the St. Paul Friendship Club, the Lutheran Laymen's, League, the Carborundum Alumni Club, the Retired Men's Group of the Tonawandas and an exempt member of the Bergholz Fire Co. Born in this city, she lived here all her life and was employed by the Carborundum Co in the accounts receivable department for 35 years. She was a member of the Holy Ghost Lutheran Church in Bergholtz. Survivors include two brothers, Carl W. Camann of North Tonawanda and George H. Camann, both of North Tonawanda; a sister, Mrs. Harold (Doris) Flett of this city and several nieces and nephews.

NORTH TONAWANDA — George H. Camann, age 88, of North Tonawanda on Tuesday, January 29, 2013, after a brief illness. George lived in Bergholtz prior to moving to North Tonawanda in 1953. He worked at the Wurlitzer Company as an Organ Tuner until its closing. He then joined the United States Postal Service, retiring in 1987 after 29 years of service in North Tonawanda.

George was a World War II U.S. Army veteran. He was the recipient of the Bronze Star with Oak Leaf Cluster and 2 Purple Hearts. He was at the Battles of Ardennes, Central Europe, Rhineland and Normandy.

Husband of the late Jean M. (nee Wiseman) Camann. Brother of the late Carl Camann, Natalie Camann, Doris Flett and Anita Edwards.

Beloved father of Joan (David) Lukasavich, George (Ruth) Camann and Carol (John) Dowd, all of North Tonawanda. Proud grandfather of Lynne, Steven (Karrie), Jeffrey (Kelly) Lukasavich, George (Claire) Camann and Valerie (Neil) Haseley. Great-grandfather of Cole, Ella, Reed, Logan, Parker Lukasavich and Margaret, Elizabeth and Georgia Camann. Brother-in-law of Velma Camann and Robert Edwards. He was a member of the Lutheran Laymen's League and had been a member of the Bergholz Fire Company Band in the 1930s and '40s.
Stoelting worked on his family's dairy farm until 1948, when he went to work at American District Steam Co. in Buffalo. He retired in 1972.

Falls Man Accused In Tavern Death
A Niagara Falls man was released on $5000 bail today after he pleaded innocent in Falls Police Court to a charge of second-degree manslaughter in a tavern-fight death in Niagara Falls early Saturday.
The dead man is Lester Camann, 40, of 268 Fourth St., Niagara Falls, son of William Camann, 40 E. Felton St., North Tonawanda.
Earl Shipley, 38, Niagara Falls, the man charged, allegedly told the victim he was occupying the wrong chair in a bar next to Falls Police Headquarters. Witnesses told police Mr. Camann began to swear and the defendant struck him, knocking him across the room against a window sill and a radiator.

P. Paul Camann, a retired electrical foreman, died Monday (Oct. 6, 1997) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, after a long illness. He was 73.
Camann, of Stephenson Avenue, was a lifelong Niagara Falls resident.
He served in the Navy during World War II and the Korean War.
Camann worked as an electrical foreman for E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Co. for 35 years, retiring in 1972.
He was a member of the Bergholz Fire Co. marching band and was a member of the Riverside Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, the former Joyce Prince; a son, John of Sandy Creek; three daughters, Janet Garthwait of Cheshire, Conn., Lorraine Janese and Kathryn Kalita; a sister, June King; and 11 grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday in Riverside Presbyterian Church, Lindbergh Avenue and 84th Street. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston

Mrs. King died Friday June 18th 2021.  June was born in Niagara Falls NY on June 27th 1928, the youngest daughter of the late John and Elsie (Lang) Camann.  She attended Cayuga Drive School and graduated from LaSalle High School in 1946.  She worked at the Carborundum Co. for 32 interrupted years, retiring in 1992.  While there, she was very active in sports; playing baseball, bowling, golf and tennis.  She also played baseball and basketball in church, industrial and American-Canadian leagues. In 1954, June was voted the Carborundum Woman Athlete of the Year as well as the WJJL Carlings City of Niagara Falls Woman Athlete of the Year.  June also worked part-time for Jenss Department Store for many years; first at the Mil-Pine Plaza and later in the offices at Summit Park Mall.  She also volunteered at the LaSalle LADD Thrift Shop.  In her later years, Mrs. King enjoyed watching sports and playing cards with friends at the John Duke Center and other senior centers.  She was a life-time member of Grace Lutheran Church, baptized July 15th 1928, confirmed March 29th 1942 and married November 30th 1957, and she taught Sunday School for many years.
Mrs. King was predeceased by her husband John W. King (June 17th 1987), son John D. King (2014), infant son James (1960), sister Mildred (John) Culbert, brothers Earl (Marie) Camann, Jack (Liz) Camann, and Paul (Joyce) Camann.  She is survived by her loving daughter JoAnn Simon, son-in-law Howard Simon and grandson Jonathan Simon, as well as many nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday June 23rd from 4-7pm at Lane Funeral Home, 8622 Buffalo Avenue.  A Memorial Service will be held Thursday at 11am at Grace Lutheran Church, 736 Cayuga Drive; family and friends are invited. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Grace Lutheran Church.

NIAGARA FALLS — Wilmer F.C. Camann, age 95, of Niagara Falls, was called to his heavenly home on February 13, 2011 in Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence. Born in the Town of Wheatfield on July 18, 1915 to the late Franklin and Rosa (Jagow) Camann. He attended local schools and was employed at the Carborundum Company-Bonded Abrasives for 40 years, retiring in 1980. Wilmer was a longtime member of Grace Lutheran Church in Niagara Falls. He used to enjoy hunting and years ago played in the Bergholz Band.

Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Evelyn H. (SaintDenny) Camann; a daughter, Gail (Seale) Williamson of Alabama; two grandchildren, Steven Williamson and Susan Bishop; and four great-granddaughters; a sister, Jean Klettke of Bergholz and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sons, an infant at birth and Gerald Camann; and two sisters, Edna McClenathan and Marion Meitz.

Jean was a lifelong member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, attended Holy Ghost School and graduated from LaSalle High School. She enjoyed English (German was spoken at home), home economics and bookkeeping. When she was 16, she began working at Kresge's Department Store in Niagara Falls.
Jean married Ivan "Corky" Klettke on July 12, 1952 in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church. Following their marriage, they lived in California and Rhode Island as Corky fulfilled his naval enlistment. They returned to purchase their family home on part of Jean's family's homestead. They celebrated holidays with extended family and friends, except for July 4, when they served the community at the Bergholz Fire Company Field Days.
Jean and Corky enjoyed Sunday outings at Camp Pioneer in Angola. They took semi-annual vacations to Rhode Island, enjoyed family camping trips, winter trips to Florida and driving to Alaska as retirees in 1994.
For most of her life, Jean was a homemaker and mother. In later years, she served as secretary and bookkeeper in the family land surveying business. She volunteered as a Sunday school teacher, member of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League, Parent Teacher League and the Ladies' Aide Society. She held offices in the Bergholz Fire Company Ladies' Auxiliary and Historical Society of North German Settlements in Western NY, worked as elections inspector for the Niagara County Board of Elections, and was a member of the Valparaiso University Guild.
Jean is survived by her four sons, Neal (Sue), Russell, Bart (Gloria) and Matthew (Kareen); nine grandchildren, Lynette Boesken (Mark), Andy, Ted (Ariel, Erin, Cam, Joshua (engaged to Sarah Sorrentino), Kirsten, Noah and Amanda; two great-grandchildren, Stone and Pia Boesken; and three nieces, Gail Williamson (Rex), Elspeth Nevelson and Maria Nevelson. She is predeceased by her husband, Corky; and siblings, Edna McClenathan, Wilmer Camann and Marion Meitz.

Waldemar H. "Wally" Camann, age 91, was called to his heavenly home on Tuesday, September 23, 2008. He was born in Bergholz, the son of the late Albert A. and Emma (Baars) Camann on January 26, 1917. Mr. Camann lived in Bergholz nearly all of his life and was a lifelong member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church. He married the former Lucille E. Wilksen on April 26, 1941. They enjoyed 55 years of marriage until her death on April 23, 1996. Mr. Camann received his early education at Holy Ghost Lutheran School, followed by South Junior High School, quit school to work at Carborundum for a time during the Depression, then returned to school and graduated from Trott Vocational School in 1937.Mr. Camann started work at DuPont in 1938 as a welding apprentice and eventually worked in sheet metal layout, until his retirement in 1978. He also crafted and installed gutters on many homes in the area to supplement the income needed to support his large family.After retirement, the Camann's enjoyed traveling and enjoying the scenery, and for visits with far-flung family and friends. He was involved with volunteering from an early age and was always available to "lend a hand" whether to individuals or through organizations to which he belonged. He was a very active member of his church, the Walther League, the Lutheran Laymen's League, the historical society and had over 70 years of volunteer service with the First Volunteer Fire Company of Bergholz, Inc. Mr. Camann is survived by his children, sons, William (JoAnne) Camann, Kent, NY, Dr. Keith (Ellen) Camann, Okemos, MI, Richard (Sue) Camann, Plymouth, MI; and daughters, Cecile Beutel, Walworth, NY, Barbara Sniffen, Gainesville, FL, Audrey Pfohl, Highlands Ranch, CO, and Donna (Jeffrey) Zygmont, Salem, NH. BERGHOLZ - Eugene W. Camann, an author, historian and former accountant for Carborundum County, died Sunday in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, after a brief illness. He was 84.
Born in Wheatfield, Mr.
Camann was a longtime resident of the hamlet of Bergholz. He graduated from Holy Ghost Lutheran School in Bergholz, LaSalle High School and Harvard Business School.
Mr. Camann worked at Carborundum for 32 years, retiring as a cost accountant. He was also an office manager for 10 years with the Eastern District office of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.
In 1975, he founded the Historical Society of North German Settlements in Western New York. He also served as curator of its Heritage Museum in Bergholz, co-founded the Bergholz German Band and was a member of the Bergholz Fire Company Band.
Mr. Camann wrote two books - "Uprooted From Prussia, Transplanted in America" and "More Prussian Transplantings in Wheatfield" - as well as numerous historical pamphlets. He took numerous trips to Germany to do research for his books.
Mr. Camann was a lifelong member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church in Bergholz, where he served as an elder, chairman of the congregation, Sunday school superintendent, choir member and on the youth and stewardship boards. He also researched and spoke on Lutheran Church history in Western New York.
His wife of 45 years, Janice R. Wienke Camann, died in 1988.
Survivors include four sons, David of San Antonio, TX,
Michael of Germantown, Stephen of Waldorf, MD., and Timothy of Unadilla; four daughters, Ruth Voelker, Lois Wiseman, Mary Fuerch and Deborah Feick, all of Bergholz; two brothers, Waldemar and Roland, both of Wheatfield; 19 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Born in the Town of Wheatfield, NY on December 6, 1923 to the late Albert and Emma (Baars) Camann. He attended Holy Ghost Lutheran School and Trott Vocational. A United States Army Veteran, he was a lifelong member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church in Bergholz, where he held numerous positions over the years and sang in the choir. He was employed as a maintenance supervisor at the E.I.DuPont & Co. for many years. Joe was an exempt member and past Chief of the Bergholz Fire Co., past Commander of the Wheatfield American Legion, Post 1451, former member of the Bergholz German Band, Bergholz Cooperative Insurance Co., and past President of the Board of Directors, Firemen's Association of the State of New York, and past President of the Niagara County Fire Chiefs Association. Hobbies and interests included music, traveling, photography, chair caining, keeping family trees and the historical society.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Bernice "Bonnie" (Milleville) Camann. They were united in marriage June 1, 1946; loving twin daughters, Karen (late Howard) Binkley of North Tonawanda and Maureen (Rev. Wayne) Jagow of Lockport; five grandchildren, Nicole (Allen) Ganz, Rev. Reverend Francis "Frank" Edward Camann, age 73 of Clintonville, entered his eternal home on Tuesday, July 5, 2005 at his residence. He was born on October 22, 1931 in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY. He was the son of the late Albert and Emma (Baars) Camann. Frank was baptized on November 15, 1931 and confirmed on March 25, 1945 into the Lutheran faith at Holy Ghost Lutheran Church in Bergholz, NY. Upon graduating from Niagara Falls Senior High School, he worked at General Abrasive Corp. and Niagara Power Co. one year before attending Concordia Teachers College, River Forest, IL. He graduated there on June 11, 1954 with a B.S. Degree in Education. On June 25, 1955 he married Doris Schmidt. His parochial school teaching years were spent in Plymouth, WI (1954-1963), Cabot, PA (1963-1965), and Luxemburg, WI (1965-1968). He enrolled at Concordia Seminary, Springfield, IL in 1968. During his 3 years of studies he assisted congregations in Farmersville and Danville, IL. His vicarage year was spent at St. John, Rochester, MI. In 1972 Frank graduated with a Master of Divinity degree from Concordia Seminary. He served pastorates at Zion, Wayside, WI (1972-1978), St. Paul, Williamsburg, IA (1978-1979), and Trinity and Grace, Bear Creek, WI (1979-1994). He retired from full-time ministry in 1994, completing 40 years of service to the church. During retirement Frank assisted the chaplain at Wisconsin State Veterans Home in King, WI. He also helped at various area churches, primarily Zion Embarrass and St. Peter Pella Opening, and St. Martin in Clintonville until early 2003 when his health began to fail.

Born Eloise Camann in Wheatfield, she attended Holy Ghost Lutheran School and was a graduate of LaSalle High School in Niagara Falls.
During the 1940s and '50s, she worked at Wurlitzer County, North Tonawanda, and at Bell Aerospace Textron, Wheatfield.
She was a past member of the Bergholz Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed reading, cooking, gardening and garage sales.
Her husband, John Sr., died in 1990.
Survivors include three sons, Jack Jr., Rodney and Richard, all of Niagara Falls; a daughter, Brenda Butry of Niagara Falls; two brothers, Warren Camann of Bergholz and Robert Camann of Waynesboro, Va.; and two grandchildren-.

Warren E. Camann, well know and respected WNY Drum Major, died Saturday July 26, 2003, in the Kenmore Mercy Hospital after a short illness.
A life long resident of Bergholz, NY, in the Town of Wheatfield, he was born on October 1, 1923, the son of Edwin J. and Lydia [ Baars ] Camann. He attended local schools and was a graduate of the Trot Vocational High School, in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY.
He served in the United States Army, during World War II, in Ardennes Central Europe, Normandy and Northern France, and was awarded the European-African-Middle Eastern Service Good Conduct Medal and the World War II Victory Medal.
He was employed as a machinist at General Abrasives for 48 years, retiring in 1989, and at Hutchin's Automotive, for 11 years, retiring last year. Warren was an Honorary Member of the Sanborn Fire Company, where he was a member of the Sanborn Band for over 50 years. He began as a member of the trombone section, he served as band manager for many years later becoming Drum Major, serving for 15 years, retiring in 2001. His proudest memories were leading the band in the Fourth of July Parades, in Washington, DC, and Philadelphia, PA., and twice in Canton, OH, for the Football Hall of Fame Parade, which is regarded as the # 3 Parade in the Country. He was a Charter and Life member of the Wheatfield Post #1451 American Legion. He was a member of the St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, in Sanborn.
Surviving is his wife of 54 years, the former June Haseley, who he married on October 8, 1949; a brother, Robert Camann, of Waynesboro, VA, and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Eloise Cindrich.
Visitation will be at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, Sanborn, NY, from 7 - 9 PM, Sunday, 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 PM, Monday.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 AM, in St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, 6168 Walmore Road, with the Rev. Bruce Gamache officiating.
Burial will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery.

The Wheatfield native was the son of the late Harry and Ella Jago (sic) Camann. He founded the Norman R. Camann Plumbing and Heating Co. in Wheatfield in 1945. He retired in 1980 and moved to Sarasota.
He was a member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church in Wheatfield, an associate member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Florida, an exempt member of the Bergholz Fire Company, a member of the Lutheran Layman's League, the Wheatfield Business Association and the Town of Wheatfield Plumbing Board. He and his wife celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in January.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Lenhardt Camann; sons, Leonard Camann of Charlotte, N.C., and Raymond Camann of Bergholz; a sister, Viola Furry of Wheatfield; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Chester Camann.

He also coached Golf, Tennis and Soccer at Tonawanda High School, served on the Tonawanda Wall of Fame Committee and was active with the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Northtowns. Tom was a member of the Eldredge Club, Third Warders Club, Tin Can Sailors and was a very active member of St. Francis of Assisi RC Church. There will be no prior visitation. Marvin E. Stoelting, age 86, of Pekin and husband of the late Phyllis (nee Mielke) Stoelting entered into rest on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at his home. Marvin was born on August 23, 1934 in North Tonawanda, NY, he is the son of the late Erwin and the late Ruth (Stenzel) Stoelting. He attended Niagara Falls High School. Marvin married Phyllis Mielke on August 25, 1956 at St. Andrews Lutheran Church in Pekin, she predeceased him in 2010. Marvin served in the United States Army from 1957 to 1959, he was stationed in Germany as an auto mechanic in the motor pool. Marvin worked his entire life at the family business Stoelting Machine Inc. in Bergholz as a machinist and Vice Present. He was a former elder for St. Andrews Lutheran Church, past President, EMT and life member of Tri-Community Ambulance Inc. Marvin was in the first EMT class held at NCCC. Marvin enjoyed hunting, working and spending time with family and friends at social gatherings and events.Surviving are his son Randy Stoelting; his sister Nancy (Leonard) Wienke; his grandchildren Justin (Katie) Stoelting, Kari (Nick) Piazza and Kaylee Stoelting, also surviving is a great granddaughter on the way; his sister in-law Karen Stoelting and several nieces and nephews. Wayne C. Stoelting, age 77, of Bergholz, was called to his heavenly home at his residence on May 31, 2015 while under the care of his loving family and Niagara Hospice. Born May 17, 1938 in North Tonawanda, NY, he was the son of the late Erwin and Ruth (Stenzel) Stoelting.

Wayne was the owner of Stoelting Machine, Inc. on Niagara Falls Blvd., a life long member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church in Bergholz where he served as a past elder, school board president and basketball coach. He was also a member of the Bergholz Fire Company for 56 years and was a past president and chief, Niagara County Fire Association, Niagara County Chief's Association, WNYVFA, FASNY, Niagara County Sheriff's Snowmobile Patrol, Wheatfield Business Association, a founding member and past president of Tri-Community Ambulance Service, Inc., and founding member of the Bergholz German Band. Hobbies and interests included fast pitch softball, bowling, gardening, and spending quality time with his family.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Karen (DeVantier) Stoelting, who were united in marriage on February 20, 1960; four children, Dennis (Diane) Stoelting, Gail (late Mark) Carrier, Laura (Steve) Rohring and Jonathan Stoelting; nine grandchildren, Christine, Hannah, Cory, Emma, Alex, Jake, Luke, Rachel and Grace; a brother, Marvin (late Phyllis) Stoelting; sister, Nancy (Leonard) Wienke; and several nieces and nephews.

MURFREESBORO, TN — Gloria Ann Kutz, 65, of Murfreesboro, TN, formerly of the Town of Wheatfield, died Thursday, September 20, 2012, after a brief illness.

The former Gloria Milleville was the daughter of the late Philip and Lorina Stoelting Milleville and grew up on the family farm on Cayuga Drive Extension in Wheatfield. She attended Lutheran schools in Bergholz and Niagara Wheatfield High School, where she graduated in 1965. She attended cosmetology school in Buffalo and operated her own beauty salon, "Gloria's Hair Fashions" for several years before her marriage in 1974 to Gerald Kutz, who died in 1985. She lived in the Kutz home in Pendleton until she moved to Tennessee over ten years ago.

Mrs. Kutz was a NASCAR and car racing enthusiast, an avid Buffalo Bills fan and an antiques collector. Besides her beauty salon, she worked as a teacher's aide for Orleans/Niagara BOCES and a school bus driver for Starpoint Central School District. In Tennessee, she was a clerical employee at medical centers until her retirement. She was loved for her friendliness, sense of humor and outgoing personality, and made many close friends both here and in Tennessee. She was a supportive, compassionate mother, grandmother and friend who never hesitated to help when needed. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, and especially her grandchildren.

Mrs. Kutz is survived by two children, Tricia (Doug) Papke of Pendleton and Steven (Rebecca) Kutz of Michigan, and four grandchildren; her companion, Ken Adams of Murfreesboro, TN, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Roy.

Visiting hours for the family are set for 9 AM to Noon Saturday, September 29, at St. James Lutheran Church on Niagara Road in Bergholz, with a memorial service at Noon. The Niagara Falls native was a lifelong member of St. James Angelical (sic) Church, where he had been a past trustee and a member of the Board of Parish Education. He also was a member of the Niagara County Farm Bureau Board of Directors, a member of the Niagara Milk Co-op, and a hoard member of the Agricultural Stabilization Conservation Services. WENTZEL, LORNA JEAN (HASELEY) Of Grand Blanc, age 73, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, went to meet Jesus on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at the Karmanos Cancer Institute in Detroit, Michigan. Lorna was born in Niagara Falls, New York on March 28, 1944, the daughter of Wallace and Cordia (Stoelting) Haseley, the second of six children. Lorna was a loving and devoted wife and her husband's best friend and confidant. She encouraged family and friends as a selfless guide and mentor. She was born with the heart of a farmer's daughter, loved the soil and was an excellent gardener. Lorna's yard and the surrounding area radiated her love for plants and flowers which she faithfully cultivated and nurtured. She will be sorely missed by the many whose lives she touched with her generosity and laughing spirit. Lorna fought valiantly against a disease that eventually consumed her body, but never consumed her love for her family and friends, nor her deep faith in the Lord Jesus. Lorna is survived by her husband of 51 years, Wayne Wentzel; five children and eleven grandchildren. WINTER HAVEN, FL — Paige passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 3rd in Orlando, FL, with her family at her bedside. Paige was predeceased by her parents, Jack and Peggy (Brown) Camann of Niagara Falls, NY.

She is survived by her husband, Bob Schmeelk; her daughter, Seana Gauger Carbone, who serves with the United States Navy, stationed in San Diego, CA; her brother, Rick Camann of Cambridge, MA; and sister, Patrice Ranellone of Brewster, NY; also step-daughters, Jennifer Sachleben and Catherine Cossaboon of Millville, NJ; and step-son, Erik Schmeelk of Rochester, NY.

Paige was born in Odessa, TX, and later moved to Niagara Falls, NY, where she attended neighborhood schools and graduated from the former LaSalle Senior High School. The family attended Grace Lutheran Church, where she was active in the Walther League. She went on to Valparaiso University in Indiana and later moved to Fairport, NY, until moving to Winter Haven, FL in 2010. While in Fairport, she was an active member of the Republican Committee in Rochester. She was a founding member and former President of the Fairport Advent House and was very active in the Rochester social scene. She was a dedicated wife and loving mother to her family. An angel and friend to those who knew her.

John was a graduate of the former LaSalle Senior High School, playing the trumpet in its band. He also attended tractor trailer school. He worked for First Source, a candy manufacturing company in Kenmore and for 17 years he worked as a cab driver for LaSalle Cab Company. John was a avid Buffalo Bills and Sabres fan. In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister, JoAnn (Howard) Simon of Amherst and a nephew, Jonathan Simon of Amherst. He was predeceased by his father John and his twin, James King as an infant. Cecile C. “CiCi” Beutel (Camann), age 66, was called to her heavenly home on Tuesday, January 20, 2009. She was born in Bergholz, the daughter of the late Waldemar H. and Lucille E. Camann, on February 24, 1942. Her strong family values developed early as she helped in the raising of her brothers, William (JoAnne) Camann, Dr. Keith (Ellen) Camann, Richard (Sue) Camann; and her sisters, Barbara Sniffen, Audrey Pfohl and Donna (Jeffery) Zygmont. Two additional brothers, Joel and Frederick predeceased Mrs. Beutel. She spent her early years attending Holy Ghost Lutheran School. She graduated as Valedictorian of her Senior Class at Niagara Falls High School in 1959. She completed one year of college at the University of Rochester, where she had received academic scholarships. She chose to forego completing her degree in order to marry her sweetheart, Marvin I. Beutel. They moved to Fairport, NY and enjoyed 32 years of marriage, until his untimely death on August 26, 1994. Cici enjoyed her role as a homemaker and proudly raised her five sons, Andrew, Dennis, Matthew, Edward and Adam, with her strong beliefs and values. Her motherly love carried on to their respective wives and fiancés, Ladelle, Jodi, Vicki, Nancy and Lisa, all of whom grew to love, respect and cherish her. She was especially proud of her nine grandchildren, Emily, Jennifer, Justin, Zak, Ryan, Justin, Mia, Jake and Noah.Mrs. Beutel was actively involved in Bethlehem Lutheran Church and in the ELCA Synod, where she served on numerous committees and leadership positions. She was instrumental in the development and startup of Advent House Hospice care, located in Fairport, where she also volunteered. She sponsored and hosted refugee families from Laos and Somalia. Mrs. Beutel also acted as Coordinator for Reach to Recovery for newly diagnosed cancer patients. She contributed much time and energy to other programs devoted to helping others.She is also survived by sister–in-law, Carol (RADM James) Doebler, Uncle Roland (Bonnie) Camann; aunts, Doris Camann, Violet Wurm, Lorraine Wilksen, Lydia Stoelting, Gladys Hasley; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Friends and family may call Friday, January 23rd, 2-4, 7-9 PM at the Richard H. NORTH TONAWANDA - Karen S. Binkley (Camann), age 64, of North Tonawanda, was called to her heavenly home to be with our Lord and reunited with loved ones on March 6, 2011, after a courageous battle with her illness. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on March 4, 1947 to the late Roland and Bernice (Milleville) Camann. Karen grew up attending Holy Ghost Lutheran Church and School, an active member of the Walther League of which she held many offices, and later became a faithful member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in North Tonawanda, where she served as the church secretary for 20 years, member of St. Matthew PTL, a Sunday School officer for 13 years, taught Vacation Bible School, was on the 100th Anniversary Committee, handwrote and directed Christmas programs and was a district deacon. Karen also enjoyed gardening, writing and spending quality time with her family.

Predeceased by her loving husband, Howard L. Binkley on September 14, 1997. She was a devoted mother and is survived by three daughters, Nicole (Allen) Ganz of Pendleton, Kim Binkley of North Tonawanda and Karrie (Glen) Gebhardt of Wheatfield; twin sister, Maureen (Rev. Wayne) Jagow of Lockport; granddaughters, Jamie Ganz and Sarah Ganz; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and many friends.

Jack was a life long member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, member of the German Historical Society, exempt member of the Bergholz Fire Company, Train Collectors Society, and the Niagara County Fire Police Association. Rodney E. Cindrich, age 58, of Wheatfield, was called to his heavenly home on March 9, 2014 at his residence of natural causes. Born in Ransomville, NY on August 30, 1955, he was the son of the late John and Eloise (Camann) Cindrich, Sr.
Rodney was a 1974 graduate of Niagara Wheatfield High School, and was employed as a press operator at Delphi in Lockport for 30 years. He enjoyed classic cars and NASCAR.
Survivors include a daughter, Candice (Jeremy) Polaikis; grandson, Daniel; two brothers, Jack and Richard (Maria) Cindrich; a sister, Brenda Butry; an uncle, several aunts and cousins. He was also predeceased by a brother, Daniel.

He attended Holy Ghost Lutheran School till 8th grade going on to graduate from Niagara Wheatfield High School and the University of Buffalo, receiving a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.Randy worked for many years as a laborer with the family business, Stoelting Machine Inc. in the Hamlet of Bergholz, until his retirement. After retirement, he found himself carrying out the duties as a funeral assistant, being the “right hand man” to his dear close friends Stephen and Brad at the Hardison Funeral Home Inc. and helping Stephen assist several other funeral homes in the area. He loved to spend time with his family and friends going to raffles, parties and enjoying, food and a few cold Mountain Dews. Randy along with his parents and brother were life members of St. Andrew Lutheran Church. Randy his father, and brother were also life members of Tri-Community Ambulance Inc. with over 20 years of service His three children were his entire world, until his first granddaughter Lucy was born on December 3rd, 2020, Randy loved their weekly babysitting days, Tuesdays and Thursdays were Lucy and Papa days. On November 15th, 2022, his second granddaughter Alessia was born and even though their time together was short he absolutely loved her and cherished their time. Randy’s third granddaughter Clare joined this world on December 6th, 2022, shortly after his passing, but it was known that he already loved her and will continue to in spirit.Surviving are his children; Justin (Katie) Stoelting, Kari (Nick) Piazza, Kaylee Stoelting; his granddaughters, Lucy Stoelting, Alessia Piazza and Clare Stoelting; several aunts, an uncle, many cousins, and many dear friends who were more like family. Kevin R. Stoelting born in Niagara Falls, New York on September 8, 1964, he was the son of Marvin and Phyllis (Mielke) Stoelting. Kevin attended Holy Ghost Lutheran School and was a 1982 Graduate of Niagara Wheatfield High School and 1984 graduate of Niagara County Community College. He worked as an arborist, machinist, mechanic and welder at the family business, Stoelting Machine, Inc. for his whole life. Kevin was a lifetime member of Tri-Community Ambulance Service, Inc., member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church, Pekin, where he was the head chowder chef, and he shot darts in the T-NT electronic dart league. Kevin loved his family and friends, helped anyone in need, and cherished every moment spent with his nieces and nephew, Kari, Kaylee and Justin. Kevin entered into rest and was called to his heavenly home on December 14, 2015 at Mercy Hospital, Buffalo, New York at the age of 51.

Predeceased by his mother in 2010, he is also survived by his father and a brother, Randy. At Kevin's request, a graveside service was conducted by the Rev. R.P. Vogeler, in St. Andrew Lutheran Cemetery on December 18, 2015, with no prior visitation. Memorial contributions may be made To St. Andrew Lutheran Church.
