CAMANN Elma M. Camann, 77, of 234 Delaware St., Tonawanda, suddenly Thursday night (June 2, 1955) in DeGraff Memorial Hospital. Born in Getzville, Mrs. Camann had lived in Tonawanda 60 years. Wife of the late Charles Camann, she is survived by two sons, Walter R. Camann of Kenmore and Melvin A. Camann of Tonawanda; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and the Ladies Guild of the church. Friends may call at the John O. Roth Funeral Home, 60 Morgan St., Tonawanda, where services will be conducted by the Rev. Theodore Schroeder Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in Elmlawn Cemetery.

Walter Camann Dies At Home on 56th Birthday
Walter R. Camann died of a heart attack yesterday on his 56th birthday. A police inhalator rescue squad was called at 2:55 pm to the Camann home at 26 Paramount Pkwy. but was nable to revive him. Mr. Camann became a Town of Tonawanda Highway Department employee in August 1926. He joined the town police force five years later. He was a member of the 23-Year Club of the Town of Tonawanda Employes He was also a life member of the Sheridan Police Club in the township. Mr. Camann's wife, the former Clara Zimmerman, is a part-time employe in the town clerk's and the town assessor's offices in the Town of Tonawanda. He is also survived by two sons. John W, and Richard C. Camann, a brother, Alderman Melvin A. Camann of Tonawanda, and three grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are being completed at the Bury Funeral Home. 3070 Delaware Ave, Kenmore.

CAMANN - Thomas P.
Age 81 of North Tonawanda and formerly of the City of Tonawanda, October 31, 2020 after a long illness. Husband of the late Martha “Marty” (nee Rabey) Camann who died in 2012; father of Molly (Kevin) Gioeli and Thomas P. Camann, Jr.; grandfather of Maia, Macey and Mason Gioeli; son of the late Melvin A. and Helen R. (nee Robinson) Camann; brother of James (late Jean and Meredith) Camann, Cathleen Camann and Daniel (Kathleen) Camann. Also survived by several nieces. Tom was a 1956 graduate of Tonawanda High School and also received his Master’s Degree from the University of Buffalo. He was also a US Navy Veteran serving on the USS Semmes during the Vietnam Era. Tom had been employed as a Physical Education Teacher in the City of Tonawanda Elementary School System for 24 years, retiring in 1996. He also coached Golf, Tennis and Soccer at Tonawanda High School, served on the Tonawanda Wall of Fame Committee and was active with the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Northtowns. Tom was a member of the Eldredge Club, Third Warders Club, Tin Can Sailors and was a very active member of St. Francis of Assisi RC Church. There will be no prior visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 150 Broad St. in Tonawanda on Thursday November 5th at 11 AM. Everyone welcome. Face coverings and social distancing will be required. Memorial contributions in memory of Tom may be made to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Northtowns of WNY, 325 Franklin St., Tonawanda, NY 14150.
