    GOMBERT - William R. Gombert, 35, of the Town of Wheatfield, Saturday (Feb. 12, 1977) at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center after a brief illness. Mr. Gombert was a lifelong resident of the Town of Wheatfield, a member of the Amateur Radio Association of the Tonawandas and the Buffalo Amateur Radio Repeater Association.
    He is survived by his wife, Barbara J. (nee Turner) Gombert; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Gombert of the Town of Wheatfield; and a brother, Dennis (Helen) Gombert of Arlington, Va. The family at the Fretthold Funeral Inc., 1241 Oliver St., at Ward Rd.,
    North Tonawanda Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held from the funeral home Tuesday at 10:30 a.m., the Rev. Rolf A. Buchmann will officiate. Interment in St. John Lutheran cemetery. If so desired, memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran Church Building Fund.
