Mrs. Emma Schimschack, 65, wife of Herman Schimschack of Washington street,
Bergholtz, died yesterday morning in the Memorial hospital, Niagara Falls,
after a short illness. She was born in the town of Wheatfield and had
resided there all her life. Besides her husband she leaves three daughters,
Mrs. Edward Moll of St. Johnsburg, Mrs. Wilbert Wolanske of Bergholtz and
Mrs. Hilda Stenzel of St. Johnsburg; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Joseph Hardy of
Getzville and Mrs. William Bradford of Ming Junction, O.; two sons, Edward
of North Tonawanda and Clarence Wolf of St. Johnsburg; eight grandchildren,
a sister, August Schimschack of Bergholtz, and two brothers, William Voelker
of Bergholtz and Philip Schimschack of North Tonawanda. Rites will be
conducted Thursday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wolanske at
Niagara road and Falls boulevard, at 2 o'clock and from the St. James church
at 2:30 o'clock. The Rev. Otto Bruss will officiate and burial will be in
St. James cemetery.

Mrs. Wolanske, 83, of Luther Street died Monday (July 30, 1990) at her daughter's home in the Town of Niagara.
Born in Wheatfield, she also worked for the Carborundum Co. for many years and was a lifetime member of St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church.
She was the widow of Albert Wolanske and Adrian Frerichs.

She moved to Wheatfield Towers 12 years ago from Bergholz.

Clarence W. Wolf, 82, of Luther Street, a lifelong resident of Wheatfield who served for 64 years as a member of the Bergholz Volunteer Fire Company, died Thursday (April 23, 1998) in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.
Wolf was secretary of the fire company for 35 years. He also was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and the volunteer firemen's associations of Niagara County, Western New York and New York State. He was a former planning supervisor for Moore Business Forms in Niagara Falls, and he enjoyed gardening and hunting. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, the former June E. Schmidt; two sons, Ronald of Wheatfield and Gerald; a daughter, Beverly Sakalian; a sister, Hilda Stenzel of Wheatfield; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in St. John Lutheran Church, Niagara Falls Boulevard and Ward Road, Wheatfield. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

TOWN OF WHEATFIELD — Dolores Lydia (Moll) Andrees, age 86, of the Town of Wheatfield, died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on April 13, 2011. Dolores was a lifelong member of St. John Lutheran Church and enjoyed being active in various church activities, such as choir and the Ladies Aid. She worked in food service preparation for the Niagara Wheatfield School District until her retirement. Two of her favorite hobbies were gardening and flower arranging.

Dolores was the daughter of the late Edward J. and Lydia (Schimschack) Moll; and the sister of the late Shirley M. (Gilbert) Walck. Dolores is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, William A. Andrees; two sons, Gary W. (Gail) Andrees, of Akron, NY and David L. (Marianna) Andrees of North Tonawanda; and a daughter, Susan B. (Michael) Kenyon of St. Mary's, GA; also surviving are four granddaughters, Christy Dunn, Gina Andrees, Natalie Andrees and Bethany Andrees; and two great-grandchildren, Carlton Carter and Rileigh Dunn.

Lois E. Haseley, of the Town of Niagara, went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at Northgate Manor, with her loving children at her side, at the age of 76. Mrs. Haseley was born in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY on August 27, 1931, the daughter of the late Adrian and Esther (Schimshack) Frerichs; and step-daughter of the late Wilbert Wolanske. She attended local schools and was a Graduate of Niagara Falls High School in the Class of 1949. Lois loved gardening, cooking and being a farmers wife. She was a Sunday School Teacher, and housed many missionaries, and held Bible Studies at her home for many years. Lois was involved with a group of friends known as "The Club". She also enjoyed traveling and traveled to Israel and throughout the United States and Canada. She was predeceased by her husband of 41 years, Reuben, who died on October 12, 1992. Stenzel served in the U.S. Army from 1954 to 1956.
He worked in the waste water treatment plant from 1970 until retiring in 1991.
Stenzel was a member of Forest Avenue Church of God and the Retired Men's Service Club.
He enjoyed playing golf and horseshoes with his son.

Buchholz, 84,  formerly of Hallsport Road passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at the Northgate Health Care in North Tonawanda, N.Y.  She was born on November 9, 1938 in Lockport, NY, the daughter of the late Rueben and Hilda (Schimschack) Stenzel. On June 7, 1958 in Bergholz she married hee husband of sixty-one years, Oscar L. Buchholz, who predeceased her on September 21, 2019.
She was raised in Bergholz, NY in Niagara County. She also formerly resided in Lockport and North Tonawanda. She moved to the Wellsville area in 1983. During her early years, Dianne was a waitress for her Aunt and Uncle.  She was a dedicated mother and grandmother who enjoyed taking care of her family.
She is survived by: three daughters, Corinne (Ralph) Maday of SC, Brigette (James) Grawe of North Tonawanda, and Donna (Duane) Moderacki of North Tonawanda; six grandchildren, Adam, James, Jennifer, Jamie, Jozef, and Brett; twelve great-grandchildren, Olivia, Addison, Kendal, Carter, Ryan, Ella, Samuel, Brigette, Sophia, Leah, Allie, and William; one brother, Douglas (Gayle) Stenzel of FL; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition to her parents, and husband, she was predeceased by: one brother, Donald Stenzel.

BUFFALO — Daniel A. "Dano" Wolf, 42, of Buffalo, NY, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, died on Tuesday January 17, 2012 at Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of Margaret (Lasher) Wolf (Richard E. Baldwin) of Buffalo, NY, and the late Gerald C. Wolf.

Daniel attended local schools including Niagara Falls High School and the former Trott Vocational High School. He was employed as a carpenter for Warren Solariums, Inc., in Tonawanda, NY. He also worked as a bartender and bouncer for several area establishments. Daniel was an avid dart player and participated in several local tournaments. He also enjoyed watching movies and golfing.

In addition to his mother; he is survived by two children, James M. (Tiffany) Wolf of Niagara Falls, NY and Kayla D. Haren of Florida; two grandchildren, James Wolf, Jr. and Aaliyah Wolf; sisters, Lori Wolf, Mary (Richard) Keller, both of Niagara Falls, NY; one brother, Glenn (Jean) Wolf of Niagara Falls, NY; his nieces and nephews, Richard Wolf, Ashley Wolf, Brandon Steinman and Jessica Williams; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be on Saturday, January 21st from 3:00 - 6:30 PM at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will follow at 6:30 PM with Rev. Roy Herberger officiating. Interment at the convenience of the family will be in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston,NY.
