August Sattelberg, aged 71 years, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ernest Nagel, of Broad street, at 4 p.m. Saturday. Deceased had been ill for nearly a year and had been confined to his bed for the past seven months. He resided in Martinsville for more than 40 years, where he was well known. A brother and a sister and two sons and two daughters survive him. The funeral will be held from the house at 1 p. m. and from the Lutheran church at Martinsville at 2:30. John Sattelberg, 77 years old, died last night at the home of his son, Adolph Sattelberg, Shawnee road. Mr. Sattelberg was born in Martinsville and had reisided in that locality all(sic) his life. He is survived by three sons, William and John Sattelberg of Unionville, Mich., and Adolph; one daughter, Mrs. George Pfitzinger of North Tonawanda; four sisters, Mrs. August Rossow of Newfabe, Mrs. Jacob Gaul and Mrs. David Moyer of North Tonawanda and Mrs. Dorothy Ewald of Unionville; two brothers, Paul Sattelberg of Buffalo and Charles Sattelberg of Unionville, and seventeen grandchildren. NORTH TONAWANDA - George H. Sattelberg, 70, of 3657 Klemer Road, Town of Wheatfield, died Sunday (Nov.. 18, 1962) at Veterans Administration Hospital, Buffalo, after a lengthy illness. He had been hospitalized for four months. Mr. Sattelberg was a veteran of World War I, serving in France with the U.S. Army. He was employed by the Wurlitzer Co. here for more than 45 years before retiring in
1960. He was a member of Tonawandas Post No. 264, American Legion, and of St.
Martin's Lutheran Church. He was a lifelong resident of the Town of Wheatfield. Surviving are his widow, Minnie Wrege Sattelberg; two sons, Howard and LaVerne Sattelberg both of Wheatfield, two brothers, John Sattelberg, this city, and Albert Sattelberg, Wheatfield, two sisters, Mrs. Henry Hoyer, Bergholtz, and Mrs. Hubert Goerss, Wheatfield. NORTH TONAWANDA, Dec. 23 - Louis Sattelberg, 66, a maintenance man at the Rudolph Wurlitzer company plant for several years, died yesterday in DeGraff Memorial hospital. He lived at 100 Old Falls boulevard. A lifelong resident of the city, he was a member of St. Martin's Lutheran church, and an exempt member of the Rescue Fire company. Survivors include his wife, Eleanor; a son, Benjamin G., North Tonawanda, and a sister, Miss Alma Sattelberg, Buffalo. Hilda E. Milleville, a member of St. James Lutheran Church, died Tuesday (Aug. 15, 2000) in Northgate Health Care Facility. The former Hilda Pfitzinger was born in Columbia, Mich., and moved to Pendleton in 1925. She moved to Wheatfield in 1936, and had been a resident of the facility since last year.
Mrs. Milleville worked as a finisher for the former Wurlitzer Co. in North Tonawanda for several years. For most of her life, however, she was a homemaker. Her husband, William, died in 1962.
Survivors include three sons, Kent, Dennis and Dean; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday in St. James Lutheran Church, Niagara Road and Rohr Street, Bergholz. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Park, Amherst.

Lavern E. Sattelberg, age 88, of Wheatfield, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2009 at Absolut Care at Gasport, following a long illness. Mr. Sattelberg was born in North Tonawanda, August 23, 1921, son of the late Adolf and Florenna Sattelberg.Mr. Sattelberg served in the Army Air Corp during WWII. He was stationed at Clark Field in the Philippines and in New Guinea.Mr. Sattelberg retired from Thiele Oil. He began work there in 1950 and retired from there in 1986. Following retirement, he continued to help out family and friends with any type of general repair.Mr. Sattelberg was an active member of St. Martin Lutheran Church. He was a former president of the congregation, had served as an elder, was a trustee of the church, had been a Sunday School teacher and was a former Boy Scout leader.His interests included bowling, playing cards, travel and most importantly his family. RAINIER, WA — Stanley Elmer Sattelberg, age 85, of Salt Lake City, UT, formerly of North Tonawanda, passed away July 14, 2013, at Mt. Rainier, WA, while visiting his brother. Stan was born April 28, 1928 in North Tonawanda, son of the late Adolf and Florenna Sattelberg. He served in the U.S. Navy, attended the University of Michigan and graduated with a degree in civil engineering. In 1960 he married Naomi Belk. Stan worked for Chicago Bridge & Iron until his retirement. Stan's work took him to many places around the world. His greatest love was the outdoors - hiking, climbing and skiing. He climbed over 300 peaks and led many expeditions with friends; his final moments were spent doing what he loved most. Husband of Naomi Sattelberg; father of Chris (Mike) Parker; grandfather of Caitlin and Steven; brother of Adolf, late Lavern, late Jean, late Walter, late Donald Sattelberg, and late Anne Kelly; also survived by many extended family members. Zimmerman , who was born in North Tonawanda, died Wednesday (Jan. 31, 2001) in McAuley Residence, Town of Tonawanda, after a long illness.
He was a retired employee of the Kenmore-Town of Tonawanda School District maintenance department and was a member of Tonawandas Post 264, American Legion, for 55 years. He also was a member of the Retired Public Employees Association.
Zimmerman served in the Army's 1748th Service Command Unit during World War II.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Rilla June; two stepdaughters, Jacquelyn Marshall Cox of Kenmore and Kathleen Marshall Strickland of New Berlin, Wis.; a stepson, Thomas A. Marshall of Laguna Beach, Calif.; eight stepgrandchildren; and 10 stepgreat-grandchildren.
