NORTH TONAWANDA - Mrs. Sarah R. Wollenberg, 82, died yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Elsie Knoell, 479 Payne avenue, after a prolonged illness. Born In Wolcottsville, N. Y., she had resided in North Tonawanda the last 12 years. She was a member of the St. Matthew's Lutheran church, in Wheatfield street, and the Ladies' Aid society of the church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Knoell; a son. Bernhardt Wollenberg, of Hoffman's Station; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Irene L. Miller of Lockport, NY passed away on Wednesday October 31, 2018 in Niagara Hospice House. Born on November 10, 1924 in Pendleton, she was the daughter of William C. and Elsie Moll Miller. She married Harry Miller on December 12, 1942 at First English Lutheran Church. Irene was a waitress and factory worker for many years and loved fishing and bowling. She was a member of First English Lutheran Church and The Dale Association.
 
Irene was predeceased by her husband, Harry Miller in 2009; two sons, Douglas and David and siblings, Ruth, Wilfred, Howard and Clarence. She is survived by her children, Shirley Hetherly, Patricia (Morgan) Jones and Robert (Tiffany) Miller; 16 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Obituary of Allene V. Miller

Allene V. Miller passed away Sunday June 9,2019.    Born September 23, 1924 in North Tonawanda she was the daughter of Alfred and Minnie Voelker Moll.  Allene was a piece worker at Grinding Wheel, North Tonawanda before she was a mother and home maker, and then worked at Horan’s in Pendleton.   She was predeceased by her husband Arthur Miller who passed away in 1994.                                                                                              
She is the mother of Lori (Scott Walters) Miller, Randy Miller and the late Linda Penrod, Larry and Gary Miller; grandmother of Jason (Monica) Penrod, Christina (Jorge) Rivera and Jacob Miller; great grandmother of three.  Allene is also the brother of the late Harvey Newman and is survived by several in laws and nieces and nephews.

Robert H. “Bob” Miller of Lockport, NY, passed away on Friday, December 8, 2023, in Buffalo General Hospital. Born on January 17, 1955, in Lockport, he was the son of the late Harry and Irene Miller. Bob retired from General Motors after 30 years.He loved to fish, hunt, camp, travel, and go to the races. Bob and Tiffany just celebrated their 25th Wedding Anniversary by renewing their wedding vows. He is also survived by 7 children, Jeremy (Lynn), Joshua, Jody (Ben), Stan (Laura), Joseph (Jena), Nicholas and Brian; 10 grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley Hetherly and Patricia (Morgan) Jones and several nieces and nephews.
