    NORTH TONAWANDA - Funeral services for William C. Stenzel, 89, of 2552 Niagara Road, Town of Wheatfield, will be conducted Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Fretthold Funeral Home with the Rev. Clarence W. Rabe officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery. Mr. Stenzel died Monday (May 24, 1971) in Mount St. Mary Hospital, Lewiston, after a long illness. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, the St. Johnsburg Fire Co., was a former welfare officer of the Town of Wheatfield for 25 years, and had operated the Uncle Bill Roller Rink in St. Johnsburg. He is survived by his widow, Elsie (lngwersen) Stenzel; five daughters, Mrs. Lewis Werth of the Town of Wheatfield; Mrs. Alfred Schimschack of California, and Mrs. Walter Newmann, Mrs. Robert Schoenfeldt and Mrs. Howard Sahr, all of North Tonawanda; a son, Howard G. Stenzel of North Tonawanda; eight grandchildren and 11 great -grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at. the funeral home.

    Mildred Werth, 90, a native of Wheatfield, died Monday (June 22, 1998) in Crestwood Nursing Home, where she lived since 1955.
    The former Mildred Stenzel was a lifelong member of St. John Lutheran Church and a member of the Ladies Aid Society and the Lutheran Women's Missionary League. Mrs. Werth also was a charter member of the auxiliary of the St. Johnsburg Fire Company and a member of the Wheatfield Senior Citizens.
    She enjoyed cooking, sewing, crocheting and gardening.
    Her husband, Louis Werth, died in 1967. He was a former highway superintendent in Wheatfield.
    Survivors include a son, Donnel of Wheatfield; a sister, Beatrice Sahr of North Tonawanda; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
    Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in St. John Lutheran Church, Niagara Falls Boulevard and Ward Road. Burial will be in St. John Lutheran Cemetery.

Donnel was an active member of St. Johnsburg Fire Company for 55 years, and enjoyed fishing, camping and yard work. Predeceased by his wife, Sharlene "Sherry" (Ensminger) Werth on August 28, 2006. They were married May 26, 1962. Survived by three children, Lisa (Scott) Munro of Lewiston, Todd (Michelle) Werth of Boardman, OH and Timothy Werth of Gasport; grandchildren, Cory Draper, Kaitlyn Munro, Kelsey (Casmir) Krul, Amanda Werth, Megan Werth, Benjamin Werth and Mary Catherine; brother in law, Roy Ensminger; and nieces, Nancy Ensminger, Diane Ensminger-Spirek and Lynda Ludwig. Visitation will be at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield on Friday from 5-8 p.m. Services will be conducted by Pastor Michael A. Keicher, on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Johnsburg Fire Company, or the SPCA.

Neumann, age 77, of North Tonawanda, died on Sunday, August 18, 2013, after a lengthy illness. Born in North Tonawanda, NY to the late Walter and Dorothy (Stenzil) Neumann, he had been a lifelong resident of North Tonawanda, and was the brother of the late Sharon Wright and Rodney Neumann. Mr. Neumann had been employed as a Facilities Manager for Praxair in the Town of Tonawanda for over 33 years, retiring in 1992. He was a volunteer fireman for Gratwick Hose No. 6 in North Tonawanda for many years and was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Frances J. (nee Urtel) Neumann; three children, Mark (Gail) Neumann of North Tonawanda, NY, Sue (Thomas) Mulvoy of Alpharetta, GA, and Kevin (Debbi) Neumann of Cypress, TX; two grandchildren, Courtney and Brittany Neumann; three step-grandchildren, Corin (Wesley) Czajkowski, Bruce (Barb) Clough, and Adam Clough; two step-great grandchildren, Emily and Dylan Clough; a sister, Paulette (Rick) Bennett of Stokesdale, NC; and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.     SOUTH BURLINGTON, VT — Sharon N. Wright (Neumann), age 66, formerly of North Tonawanda, died, suddenly, on September 13, 2011, in her home in South Burlington, VT. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Dorothy Neumann.

    A resident of North Tonawanda for over 60 years, she was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ and an active, founding member of the Twin City Community Outreach Food Pantry and Clothes Closet programs.

    Beloved mother of Kristin Wright (Jeffrey Berkowitz), Amy (David) Wright-Parra and Joseph (Lynn) Wright. Her greatest joys were her grandchildren, Emma, Jerry and William Berkowitz, and Annabelle and Samuel Wright. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was the dear sister of the late Rodney (Joan) Neumann, Dale (Fran) Neumann and Paulette (Rick) Bennett.

    A service will be held on Saturday, September 17th, at 11:00 AM, at St. Peter's United Church of Christ, 1208 Oliver Street, North Tonawanda. No prior visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Association of American (MSAA) at www.msassociation.org.
