    Private grave side services were held today in Acacia Park Cemetery, Pendleton, for retired industrial worker Norman W. Goerss.
    Goerss, 74, of Unicorn Drive, died Monday (Jan. 22, 1990) in DeGraff Memorial Hospital, North Tonawanda.
    A native of Wheatfield, he worked for 45 years at National Grinding Wheel Co. in North Tonawanda. After he retired, he operated an upholstery business in his home.
    Goerss was an Army veteran of World War II.
    Surviving are his wife, Ruth E. Strothman Goerss; a son, Terry of the Town of Cambria; two sisters, Ruth Milleville of Bergholz and Hilda Witkopp of North Tonawanda, and three grandsons

    This man with the biggest heart will be truly missed and loved forever.
    Family and friends may call at the Rutland-Corwin Funeral Home, Inc. 2670 Main St. Newfane, NY on FRIDAY July 5, 2019 from 7-9pm where a funeral service will be held on Saturday July 6, 2019 at 11am. Burial will be in Budd Rd. Cemetery.
