Ferdinand Strasburg, 75 years old, a lifelong rcsident of La Salle, died yesterday at bis home in Tompkins Avenue in that village. For many years he had been engaged in the real estate business and long was actively interested In public affairs of the village. He served for four years as a member of the village board of trustees. Last May 25 Mr. Strasburg and his wife celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. He is survived by his wife, four daughters and one son. They are Mrs. George Hodge and Mrs Emma Luick, of this city: Mrs. Frank Getzin and Mrs. Albert Wingert, of Buffalo, and one son Henry Strasburg of Buffalo. The funeral will he held from the house tomorrow afternoon at 2.o'clock and a half hour later from the Zion church in LaSalle. The Rev.Daniel Goerss will officiate. Burial will be in St Mathew's Cemetery on Sawyer's Creek.

Ruth's life was reflected by her love of art which was expressed in many forms and shared with everyone. Her life was devoted to her family and faith. NIAGARA FALLS — Carl A. Reisig, a lifetime resident of Niagara Falls, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, February 5, 2012, while at home after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 75.

He was born in Niagara Falls, NY on April 18, 1936, the son of Carl Frederick and Dorothy (Wingert) Reisig. He attended local schools and graduated from the former LaSalle Junior/Senior High School, class of 1954. Carl served in the Air Force Reserves and active duty Air Force. He was employed by Niagara Mohawk as a supervisor of real-estate, retiring in 1992 after 37 years.

A lifetime member of Grace Lutheran Church, he served the Lord in various capacities including Sunday School teacher, elder, trustee and choir member. Carl believed "that life in Jesus Christ is the greatest gift you could ever receive."

Survivors include his beloved wife of 55 years, Anna Helene (Kromer) Reisig; four children, Linda (Robert) Dean of Vestal, NY, David (Sharon) Reisig of Rochester, Gary (Debbie) Reisig of Wheatfield, Robert (Kelly) Reisig of Hilton, NY; two sisters, Jeanette (late Harry) Schisler, Dorothy ((Joel) Kew of Lewiston; 11 grandchildren, Becky, Kari, Jena, Bobby, Karl, Sarah, Laurel, Connor, Tyler, Karli and Jake; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 PM and Wednesday from 1-3 and 6-8 PM in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls. Robert P. Beaver, Sr., lifetime resident of Niagara Falls, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 09, 2015 at Buffalo Veterans Hospital. He was 72. He was born in Niagara Falls on May 22, 1943, a son of Margaret (Sikkas) Beaver and the late Lauren J. Beaver. He attended local schools including the former LaSalle Senior High School and then entered the United States Navy. After his honorable discharge in 1962 he worked as a truck driver for several companies, retiring from St. Johnsbury in Tonawanda. Mr. Beaver loved to travel and loved going out to dinner but his greatest joy was his time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his loving companion of 15 years, Patricia Felkner, and her family, two children: Robert P. (Gloria) Beaver, Jr. and Scott (Laurie) Beaver, his mother Margaret Beaver, three siblings: Lauren C. Beaver, Pat (Bob) Colosi and Allen Beaver, 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Howard L. "Bink" Binkley, an employee of Buffalo Abrasives and a former production control manager for National Grinding Wheel, died Sunday (Sept. 14, 1997) in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, Amherst, after an apparent heart attack.
Binkley, 52, of North Tonawanda, was a native of Niagara Falls.
He worked as a production control manager for National Grinding Wheel for 28 years. For the past nine years, he had worked for Buffalo Abrasives of North Tonawanda.
He was an active member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church and had been a member of its male choir.
Binkley is survived by his wife, the former Karen Camann; his parents, Howard and Ruth of North Tonawanda; three daughters, Nicole Cutter of Pendleton and Kim and Karrie, both of North Tonawanda; three brothers, Gary, Jeffrey and Mark; and two sisters, Lynne Hummel and Kathy Gibson, all of North Tonawanda.
Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Thursday in St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 875 Eggert Drive, North Tonawanda. Burial will be in St. Matthew Lutheran Cemetery, Wheatfield
