SCHROEDER - Louise Schroeder, 97, of North Tonawanda, Wednesday (January 13, 1988) in Mt. View Skilled Nursing Facility after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Schroeder was a lifelong resident of North Tonawanda and a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of North Tonawanda. She was the wife of the late Edward F. Schroeder who died in 1956. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Norma) Bergman of East Amherst, New York, and Mrs. Lucius (Dorothy) Curtis of North Tonawanda; seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Hilda Aschenbach of North Tonawanda; also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Violet Herman.
Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd., North Tonawanda this evening from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Friday at 10:00 a.m. The Rev. Richard E. Pape will officiate. Interment in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 453 Old Falls Blvd., North Tonawanda, N.Y.

She was the wife of the late Lucius Curtis. Beloved mother of Ronald (Marilyn) Curtis of Tonawanda, grandmother of Melanie Curtis and Kevin Curtis. Sister of the late Violet (Late Arthur) Herman and the late Norma (late Raymond) Bergman; aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was the longtime friend of John Dittmann.
