    Notes:

    Adelean J. Siegmann - Cholewa age 85 of Wheatfield, was called to her heavenly home unexpectedly on June 25, 2015 while at the Niagara Hospice House. Born in the Town of Clarence, NY on June 22, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mildred (Schaffer) Byrd. Adelean was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Wheatfield, charter member of St. Johnsburg Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, and former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in North Tonawanda. She was a devoted homemaker and was employed as a Nurses Aide for 18 years at DeGraff Memorial Hospital. Adelean enjoyed babysitting, taking care of the sick, was known for her homemade baked pies, flower gardening, Country Western dancing, loved singing and loved to kid around.

    She was predeceased by her first husband, Lester Siegmann and a son, Daniel Siegmann both in 1998. Survivors include her husband, Walter Cholewa whom she married August 21, 2004; children, Larry Siegmann of Appleton; Patricia (Jim) Zimmerman of Cambria and Steven (Cindy) Cholewa of Wheatfield; grandchildren, Mark (Brenda) Siegmann, Greg Siegmann, Kimberly (Greg) Brennan, Jennifer Hagan, Cory Cech, Errick Cholewa and Adam Cech; great-grandchildren, Paige, Julia, Allison, Leah, Danielle and Sarah; and several nieces and nephews.

    Friends may call at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME (731-3234), 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield on Sunday from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. Services will be conducted on Monday at 11:00 a.m. in St. John Lutheran Church, corner Niagara Falls Blvd. and Ward Road. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Niagara Hospice

    August 20, 1949 - June 24, 2022

    Larry L Siegmann, 72 of Appleton entered into rest on Friday June 24th, 2022 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport. He was born on August 20th, 1949 in North Tonawanda, NY to the late Lester and Adelean Byrd Siegmann.
    Larry worked for and retired from the New York State Parks and Recreation as the Manager/Supervisor at the Cave of the Winds at Niagara Falls State Park. He was a life member of the St. Johnsburg Fire Co. in North Tonawanda, He enjoyed hunting, fishing and working his land along side his loving pal Zeke.
    Surviving are his sons; Mark (Brenda) Siegmann and Greg Siegmann (Karen Brown); his grandchildren Paige Parsons, Julia, Danielle, Allison, Leah and Sara Siegmann, soon to arrive any day is his great granddaughter Piper Glass. Also surviving is his loving pal, his dog Zeke, as well as numerous other family members and friends.
    Family and friends are invited to attend visitation on THURSDAY June 30th from 4-8 PM. at the RUTLAND-CORWIN FUNERAL HOME INC. 2670 Main St. Newfane, NY 14108. Memorial donations may be made to Niagara Co. SPCA or Niagara Hospice.

    Larry married SCHAFFER, Karen Deborah in Nov 1970. Karen (daughter of SCHAFFER, Myron D and KRULL, Marion E) was born in 19 May. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    Daniel C. Siegmann, 42, of Homeyer Road, died Saturday (Dec. 5, 1998) at home after a lengthy illness. Siegmann, who was born in North Tonawanda, was a graduate of Niagara-Wheatfield High School. He worked for 18 years as parts manager for Grano & Sons Auto Parts in the Town of Tonawanda. Siegmann was a member of St. Johnsburg Fire Company. He enjoyed art, music, fishing, football and bowling. He was a lifelong member of St. John Lutheran Church. Surviving are his mother, Adelean, and a brother, Larry of Wilson. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, Bergholz. Burial will be in St. John Lutheran Cemetery.
