North Tonawanda; uncle of
one niece and one nephew.

Funeral Home. 156 Robinson
St., North Tonawanda, where
services will be held Wednesday,
Nov. 21st. at 1:30 p.m. The
Rev. Enno A. Schmoock will

Mr. Zappendorf was taken by Twin
City Ambulance to DeGraff Memorial
Hospital with second and third-degree
burns over 50 per cent of his body. He
was transferred to the Buffalo Burn
Treatment Center at Emergency
Hospital, where he died at about 12:10
a.m.today.
The North Tonawanda Fire Department
is investigating the blaze.
Mr. Zappendorf had been living with
the Hepplers since a 1971 automobile
accident which left him permanently
disabled. He was a former employe of
the old Bell Aircraft Corp., and was a
member of St. Paul's Lutheran
Church.
He was the husband of the late Mabel
Hibbert Zappendorf. He is survived by
two sisters, Mrs. Heppler and Mrs.
James (Myra) Soos of North
Tonawanda, one niece and one nephew.
The Brunner Funeral Home, 156
Robinson St., North Tonawanda, is in
charge of arrangements.
