TOWN OF WHEATFIELD - Erwin C. Stoelting, 63, of 2403 Niagara Road, died Monday (Nov. 2, 1970) at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. He was a lifelong resident of this community where he operated the Stoelting Machine Inc. since 1941. He was a member of the Bergholtz Volunteer Fire County, a past assistant fire chief of the company, a member of the Town of Wheatfield Business Association, Niagara County Volunteer Firemen's Association, a life member of the Western New York and the New York State Volunteer Fireman's Associations and a member of the Niagara County Fire Chiefs Association.
He is survived by his widow, the former Ruth Stenzel; two, sons, Marvin E. of Sanborn, and Wayne C., of this community, a daughter, Mrs. Leonard (Nancy) Wienke of Sanborn; and seven grandchildren; a brother, Arthur Stoelting; and two sisters, Mrs. Phillip Milleville, and Mrs. Wallace Haseley, all of Town of Wheatfield.
Friend's may call until noon Thursday at the Fretthold Funeral Home where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Holy Ghost Lutheran Church by Rev. Albert W. Bahr. Burial will be in Holy Ghost Cemetery.

Services for Arthur J. Stoelting, who served in Bergholz Fire Company for 60 years, will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, Luther Street and Niagara Road.
Stoelting, 86, died Saturday (March 18, 1995) in his home on Stoelting Street.
He was born in Wheatfield, lived there all of his life and was a lifelong member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church.
Stoelting was an exempt member of Bergholz Fire Company. He also volunteered for many years with Tri-Community Ambulance Service.
He was a member of the Lutheran Laymen's League and had been a member of the Bergholz Fire Company Band in the 1930s and '40s.
Stoelting worked on his family's dairy farm until 1948, when he went to work at American District Steam Co. in Buffalo. He retired in 1972.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, the former Mathilda Stenzel; a son, Duane A. of Bergholz; three daughters, Helen M. Haseley of Walmore, Margaret E. Jensen of Tucson, AZ., and Mary Lou Milroy of Niagara Falls; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren

Cordia Haseley Was lifelong resident of Bergholz
BERGHOLZ - Cordia (Stoelting) Haseley, of Stoelting Street, died Thursday (May 14, 1987) at Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston. She was 70. She was born at her homestead in Bergholz and was a lifelong resident of the hamlet. Mrs. Haseley enjoyed baking and decorating special cakes for the community. She was a member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, the Ladies Aid and Lutheran Women's Missionary League. Survivors include her husband, Wallace Haseley; sons, Roger, Willard and Wilfred Haseley, all of Bergholz; daughters, Marlene Langhart of Long Island, N.Y., Lorna Wentzel of Michigan and Florine Wilkins of Maine; a brother, Arthur Stoelting of Bergholz; 14 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Erwin Stoelting and Lorina Milleville. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road. Obituary of Marvin E. Stoelting
Marvin E. Stoelting, age 86, of Pekin and husband of the late Phyllis (nee Mielke) Stoelting entered into rest on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at his home. Marvin was born on August 23, 1934 in North Tonawanda, NY, he is the son of the late Erwin and the late Ruth (Stenzel) Stoelting. He attended Niagara Falls High School. Marvin married Phyllis Mielke on August 25, 1956 at St. Andrews Lutheran Church in Pekin, she predeceased him in 2010. Marvin served in the United States Army from 1957 to 1959, he was stationed in Germany as an auto mechanic in the motor pool. Marvin worked his entire life at the family business Stoelting Machine Inc. in Bergholz as a machinist and Vice Present. He was a former elder for St. Andrews Lutheran Church, past President, EMT and life member of Tri-Community Ambulance Inc. Marvin was in the first EMT class held at NCCC. Marvin enjoyed hunting, working and spending time with family and friends at social gatherings and events.Surviving are his son Randy Stoelting; his sister Nancy (Leonard) Wienke; his grandchildren Justin (Katie) Stoelting, Kari (Nick) Piazza and Kaylee Stoelting, also surviving is a great granddaughter on the way; his sister in-law Karen Stoelting and several nieces and nephews. Wayne C. Stoelting, age 77, of Bergholz, was called to his heavenly home at his residence on May 31, 2015 while under the care of his loving family and Niagara Hospice. Born May 17, 1938 in North Tonawanda, NY, he was the son of the late Erwin and Ruth (Stenzel) Stoelting.

Wayne was the owner of Stoelting Machine, Inc. on Niagara Falls Blvd., a life long member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church in Bergholz where he served as a past elder, school board president and basketball coach. He was also a member of the Bergholz Fire Company for 56 years and was a past president and chief, Niagara County Fire Association, Niagara County Chief's Association, WNYVFA, FASNY, Niagara County Sheriff's Snowmobile Patrol, Wheatfield Business Association, a founding member and past president of Tri-Community Ambulance Service, Inc., and founding member of the Bergholz German Band. Hobbies and interests included fast pitch softball, bowling, gardening, and spending quality time with his family.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Karen (DeVantier) Stoelting, who were united in marriage on February 20, 1960; four children, Dennis (Diane) Stoelting, Gail (late Mark) Carrier, Laura (Steve) Rohring and Jonathan Stoelting; nine grandchildren, Christine, Hannah, Cory, Emma, Alex, Jake, Luke, Rachel and Grace; a brother, Marvin (late Phyllis) Stoelting; sister, Nancy (Leonard) Wienke; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME (731-3234), 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Philip N. MURFREESBORO, TN — Gloria Ann Kutz, 65, of Murfreesboro, TN, formerly of the Town of Wheatfield, died Thursday, September 20, 2012, after a brief illness.

The former Gloria Milleville was the daughter of the late Philip and Lorina Stoelting Milleville and grew up on the family farm on Cayuga Drive Extension in Wheatfield. She attended Lutheran schools in Bergholz and Niagara Wheatfield High School, where she graduated in 1965. She attended cosmetology school in Buffalo and operated her own beauty salon, "Gloria's Hair Fashions" for several years before her marriage in 1974 to Gerald Kutz, who died in 1985. She lived in the Kutz home in Pendleton until she moved to Tennessee over ten years ago.

Mrs. Kutz was a NASCAR and car racing enthusiast, an avid Buffalo Bills fan and an antiques collector. Besides her beauty salon, she worked as a teacher's aide for Orleans/Niagara BOCES and a school bus driver for Starpoint Central School District. In Tennessee, she was a clerical employee at medical centers until her retirement. She was loved for her friendliness, sense of humor and outgoing personality, and made many close friends both here and in Tennessee. She was a supportive, compassionate mother, grandmother and friend who never hesitated to help when needed. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, and especially her grandchildren.

Mrs. Kutz is survived by two children, Tricia (Doug) Papke of Pendleton and Steven (Rebecca) Kutz of Michigan, and four grandchildren; her companion, Ken Adams of Murfreesboro, TN, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Roy.

Visiting hours for the family are set for 9 AM to Noon Saturday, September 29, at St. James Lutheran Church on Niagara Road in Bergholz, with a memorial service at Noon. Interment will be at St. James Lutheran Cemetery in Bergholz. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.

TOWN OF WHEATFIELD - Roy P. Milleville, 49, of Cayuga Drive Extension, died Saturday (Dec. 29, 1990) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital after being stricken with a heart attack.
The Niagara Falls native was a lifelong member of St. James Angelical (sic) Church, where he had been a past trustee and a member of the Board of Parish Education. He operated the family dairy farm in the Town of Wheatfield and was a member of the New York State Farm Bureau. He also was a member of the Niagara County Farm Bureau Board of Directors, a member of the Niagara Milk Co-op, and a hoard member of the Agricultural Stabilization Conservation Services. Milleville and his wife, Suzanne (Walck) Millevllle, were married for 28 years.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Andrew Milleville of Niagara Falls; two daughters, Annette Milleville of Chicago and Amy Milleville of Niagara Falls; a sister, Gloria Kutz of Pendleton; several nieces; and one nephew. He was predeceased by his parents, Philip and Lorina (Stoelting) Milleville.

Milleville, whose farm supplies milk to Wendt's Dairy Division of the Niagara Milk Co-op, died Saturday (Dec. 29, 1990) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, after being stricken in his Wheatfield home.
A native of Niagara Falls, he attended St. James Lutheran Elementary School and was a 1959 graduate of Niagara Falls High School. His father, the late Philip J. Milleville, ran the family dairy farm before him.

WENTZEL, LORNA JEAN (HASELEY) Of Grand Blanc, age 73, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, went to meet Jesus on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at the Karmanos Cancer Institute in Detroit, Michigan. Lorna was born in Niagara Falls, New York on March 28, 1944, the daughter of Wallace and Cordia (Stoelting) Haseley, the second of six children. Lorna was a loving and devoted wife and her husband's best friend and confidant. She encouraged family and friends as a selfless guide and mentor. She was born with the heart of a farmer's daughter, loved the soil and was an excellent gardener. Lorna's yard and the surrounding area radiated her love for plants and flowers which she faithfully cultivated and nurtured. She will be sorely missed by the many whose lives she touched with her generosity and laughing spirit. Lorna fought valiantly against a disease that eventually consumed her body, but never consumed her love for her family and friends, nor her deep faith in the Lord Jesus. Lorna is survived by her husband of 51 years, Wayne Wentzel; five children and eleven grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by son, Michael, his wife Anne, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, and their children Aaron, Katrina, Adin and Elise; daughter Jennifer Nguyen, her husband Khoa, of Savannah, Georgia, and their children, Luke, Elijah and Ryder; son Mark, his wife JenMarie, of Atlanta, Georgia, and their children Auguste and Eero; daughter Emily Craw, her husband Anthony, of Grand Blanc and their children Julian and Benjamin; and son Daniel of Seattle, Washington. Randy M. Stoelting, 62, of Ransomville and Pekin entered into rest unexpectedly on December 04, 2022, at ECMC. Randy was born on July 24, 1960, to the late Marvin and Phyllis (Nee Mielke) Stoelting. He attended Holy Ghost Lutheran School till 8th grade going on to graduate from Niagara Wheatfield High School and the University of Buffalo, receiving a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.Randy worked for many years as a laborer with the family business, Stoelting Machine Inc. in the Hamlet of Bergholz, until his retirement. After retirement, he found himself carrying out the duties as a funeral assistant, being the “right hand man” to his dear close friends Stephen and Brad at the Hardison Funeral Home Inc. and helping Stephen assist several other funeral homes in the area. He loved to spend time with his family and friends going to raffles, parties and enjoying, food and a few cold Mountain Dews. Randy along with his parents and brother were life members of St. Andrew Lutheran Church. Randy his father, and brother were also life members of Tri-Community Ambulance Inc. with over 20 years of service His three children were his entire world, until his first granddaughter Lucy was born on December 3rd, 2020, Randy loved their weekly babysitting days, Tuesdays and Thursdays were Lucy and Papa days. On November 15th, 2022, his second granddaughter Alessia was born and even though their time together was short he absolutely loved her and cherished their time. Randy’s third granddaughter Clare joined this world on December 6th, 2022, shortly after his passing, but it was known that he already loved her and will continue to in spirit.Surviving are his children; Justin (Katie) Stoelting, Kari (Nick) Piazza, Kaylee Stoelting; his granddaughters, Lucy Stoelting, Alessia Piazza and Clare Stoelting; several aunts, an uncle, many cousins, and many dear friends who were more like family. Kevin R. Stoelting born in Niagara Falls, New York on September 8, 1964, he was the son of Marvin and Phyllis (Mielke) Stoelting. Kevin attended Holy Ghost Lutheran School and was a 1982 Graduate of Niagara Wheatfield High School and 1984 graduate of Niagara County Community College. He worked as an arborist, machinist, mechanic and welder at the family business, Stoelting Machine, Inc. for his whole life. Kevin was a lifetime member of Tri-Community Ambulance Service, Inc., member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church, Pekin, where he was the head chowder chef, and he shot darts in the T-NT electronic dart league. Kevin loved his family and friends, helped anyone in need, and cherished every moment spent with his nieces and nephew, Kari, Kaylee and Justin. Kevin entered into rest and was called to his heavenly home on December 14, 2015 at Mercy Hospital, Buffalo, New York at the age of 51.

Predeceased by his mother in 2010, he is also survived by his father and a brother, Randy. At Kevin's request, a graveside service was conducted by the Rev. R.P. Vogeler, in St. Andrew Lutheran Cemetery on December 18, 2015, with no prior visitation. Memorial contributions may be made To St. Andrew Lutheran Church.

Darlene was a lifelong member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church in Bergholz, graduated from Niagara Wheatfield High School, and earned an Associate's Degree in Radiology Technology at Niagara County Community College. She was employed at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo. Darlene enjoyed reading, vacationing in Outer Banks, and decorating for Christmas.Survivors include her loving husband, Nicholas G. Hanel. They were married October 20, 2006; her parents; two children, Evan and Ellyse Hanel; two sisters, Kristen (Todd) Hayes, and Dannielle (Todd) Galas; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.Friends may call at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, on Friday (December 9) from 4-8 p.m. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Denton White, in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, corner of Niagara Road and Luther Street, on Saturday (December 10) at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church.
