Wiihelmina F. Siegmann. 90. died
today a*, the home of her daughter,
Mrs. William Jagow, in the Tona-
wanda Creek road. She Was born
in Germany and had resided in
Pendleton for the last 10 years pre-
vious to which she resided in the
Town of Wheatfield.
She is survived by two daughters,
Mrs. Charles Werth. of Wheatfie'.d.
and Mrs. Jagow f thiee sons, William
Charles and Henry all of
Wheatfield 13 grandchildren, one
great grandson and a sister, Mrs.
Frank Drego of Lockport.
The funeral will be held Satur-
day at 2 p.m. at the home of the
daughter and at 2:45 at St. John's

JAGOW – Anna M. (nee Siegmann) Jagow, 97, of the Town of Pendleton, N. Y., Friday (May 11, 1979) after a brief illness. A lifelong resident of the North Tonawanda area, she was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in North Tonawanda and was the wife of the late William B. Jagow.
She is survived by her daughter, Miss Luella V. Jagow and many nieces and nephews.
The family will be present from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. on Saturday and Sunday at the Hamp Funeral Home, Inc., Adam and Seymour Sts., Tonawanda. Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. NORTH TONAWANDA - Henry J. Siegmann, 73, of 6826 Errlck Road, Wheatfield, died Monday (Nov. 1, 1965) in De Graff Memorial Hospital. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and of the St. Johnsburg Volunteer Fire Co. Mr. Siegmann was formerly employed at the Buffalo Bolt Co. here, for 15 years, until the time of the plant closing. He also operated a small farm on the Errick Road property. Survivors include his widow, the former Appolonia Williams; a daughter, Mrs. Clifford (Hilda) Toellner, Wheatfield; a sister , Mrs. Anna Jagow, Pendleton, and three grandchildren, Mrs. Herbert (Betty) Brown, .this city, and Joann and Jerry Toellner, Wheatfield. Miss Jagow was employed at the Remington Rand plant in North Tonawanda, retiring after 32 years of service.

Harold W. Siegmann Harold W. Siegmann, age 87, of North Tonawanda, was called to his heavenly home on Sunday (Dec. 13, 2009) in DeGraff Memorial Hospital, after a brief illness. Born in the Town of Wheatfield, NY on February 1, 1922 to the late William and Martha (Jagow) Siegmann. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and was employed at the Chevrolet Plant, in the Town of Tonawanda, for 39 years, retiring as a foreman. Harold was a lifelong member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, Wheatfield, was an honorary member of St. Johnsburg Fire Company and enjoyed bowling and golfing.Survivors include his wife, Vivian (Miller) Siegmann; they were united in marriage March 9, 1946; two children, James (Elaine) Siegmann and Jon (Michele) Siegmann, both of North Tonawanda; three grandchildren, Randy (Amy), Kristin and Joseph Siegmann; three great-grandchildren, Emma, Alyssa and Britt; a sister and two brothers, Clarice Poerschke, Richard (Jean) Siegmann and Roger Siegmann, all of Wheatfield; and many nieces and nephews. Donald P. Siegmann, age 73 of the Town of Wheatfield, Niagara County, NY, died Sunday October 16, 2005, in Mount St. Mary's Hospital after a long illness.
He was a lifelong resident of the Town of Wheatfield, born on July 2, 1932, in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY, the son of William and Martha [ Jagow ] Siegmann, where he attended local schools. Donald served in the Korean War in the United States Army from November 18, 1952 to November 17, 1954.
He was employed as a construction laborer through Local 210 and had been employed by many local building contractors, including W. W. Kimmins & Sons of Kenmore, NY. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, a 50 year member of the St. Johnsburg Volunteer Fire Company and a 50 year member of the Wheatfield American Post # 1451.
Donald enjoyed farming and gardening and volunteering at the fire hall.
His family was very important to him, especially spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving is his wife of 47 years, the former Rosemary Hefferon; three sons: Douglas [ Theresa ] Siegmann; Thomas [ Susan ] Siegmann and Rodney [ Dawn ] Siegmann, all of Wheatfield; a daughter, Brenda [ Martin ] Perry of Niagara Falls; his twin brother, Richard [ Jean ] Siegmann of Wheatfield; a brother Harold [ Vivian ] Siegmann of North Tonawanda, Niagara County, NY; a sister, Clarice [ Richard ] Poerschke of Wheatfield; sister-in-law, Mae Siegmann; a cousin Roger Siegmann; and 7 grandchildren.
He was the brother of the late Melvin Siegmann, Erma England and Mildred Witkop, and cousin of the late Howard and Lester Siegmann.

Lester K. Siegmann, 73, of Homeyer Road, a lifelong resident of Wheatfield and a veteran of World War II, died Sunday (Sept. 13, 1998) in DeGraff Skilled Nursing Facility, North Tonawanda.
Siegmann served in the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1946 and was employed at Staffen Trucking Co. for 39 years, retiring in 1987 as a foreman.
He was a lifelong member of St. John Lutheran Church and a member of Wheatfield Post 1451, American Legion.
He was given a gold watch in February in observance of his 50 years of service to St. Johnsburg Fire Company, where he was an exempt member.
He enjoyed bowling and watching football games.
Survivors include his wife, the former Adelean Byrd; two sons, Larry of Wilson and Daniel; a brother, Roger of Sanborn; two grandsons; and five stepgrandsons.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. John Lutheran Church, Niagara Falls Boulevard and Ward Road, North Tonawanda. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Siegman, 67, of Homeyer Road, died Tuesday (May 2, 1995) in DeGraff Memorial Hospital, North Tonawanda, after apparently suffering a heart attack.
He was born in Wheatfield and was a member of St. Johnsburg Volunteer Fire Company for 45 years. He served as treasurer and fire chief and was an active fire police officer.
Siegman was a life member of the Niagara County Volunteer Firemen's Association, the Niagara County Fire Police Association and a lifelong member of St. John Lutheran Church. He was superintendent of the church cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, the former Loretta J. Severance; a daughter, Kathleen Greenland of Cambria; two sons, Jeffrey and Jay; two brothers, Lester and Roger "Pete"; and two grandchildren.

Larry L. Siegmann
August 20, 1949 - June 24, 2022

Larry L Siegmann, 72 of Appleton entered into rest on Friday June 24th, 2022 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport. He was born on August 20th, 1949 in North Tonawanda, NY to the late Lester and Adelean Byrd Siegmann.
Larry worked for and retired from the New York State Parks and Recreation as the Manager/Supervisor at the Cave of the Winds at Niagara Falls State Park. He was a life member of the St. Johnsburg Fire Co. in North Tonawanda, He enjoyed hunting, fishing and working his land along side his loving pal Zeke.
Surviving are his sons; Mark (Brenda) Siegmann and Greg Siegmann (Karen Brown); his grandchildren Paige Parsons, Julia, Danielle, Allison, Leah and Sara Siegmann, soon to arrive any day is his great granddaughter Piper Glass. Also surviving is his loving pal, his dog Zeke, as well as numerous other family members and friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend visitation on THURSDAY June 30th from 4-8 PM. at the RUTLAND-CORWIN FUNERAL HOME INC. 2670 Main St. Newfane, NY 14108. Memorial donations may be made to Niagara Co. SPCA or Niagara Hospice.

Jay was employed at Snyder Industries, as a machinist for 33 years, until his massive stroke in 2019. A life long member of St. John Lutheran Church, in Wheatfield, also a member of St. Johnsburg Volunteer Fire Company for 39 years, the NYSVF Judging Association- Western Division, and enjoyed deer hunting.Survivors include his wife, Kimberly (Prantera) Siegman; two children, Nicholas Henneberger and Sarah Siegman; three fur children, Bear, Roxy, and Duke; a sister, Kathleen Greenland (Wally Rowell); uncle, Pete (Judy) Siegman; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and in-laws. Jay was preceded in death by a brother, Jeffery Siegman.Friends may call at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, on Saturday (April 23) from noon until 4:00 p.m. Members of the St. Johnsburg Fire Company will conduct a memorial service at 3:30 p.m. Funeral service will take place following the visitation at 4:00 p.m., with the Rev. Michael Borgstede, officiating. A private interment, along with the family, will take place in St. John Lutheran Cemetery. JoAnn Marie (Toellner) Durick, age 80 of Wheatfield, NY, was called peacefully to her heavenly home on August 22, 2021, in her residence at Wheatfield Commons. Born in North Tonawanda, NY on March 20, 1941; daughter of the late Clifford and Hilda (Siegmann) Toellner. JoAnn was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, in Wheatfield. She had been employed with the Niagara Wheatfield Central School District, and was a dedicated loving mother and homemaker. JoAnn was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Durick on May 3, 2002; and a brother, Jerry Toellner.Survivors include two sons, Kelly Durick and Steven (Stephanie) Durick both of North Carolina; a sister, Betty Brown of Wheatfield; sister in law, Judy Toellner of Arizona; grandchildren, Alexzandrea, Steven, Peyton and Christian all from North Carolina; and many nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Michael Borgstede, on Wednesday (August 25) at 10:00 a.m. in St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, corner of Niagara Falls Blvd. and Ward Road, in Wheatfield. There will be a visitation period from 9-00 - 10:00 prior to the service, in the church. Interment will follow the service, in the church cemetery. Jerry W. Toellner, age 70, of Ramah, NM, went to be with his Heavenly Father on April 18, 2014. He died peacefully at his Gilbert, AZ home surrounded by family. He was born on July 12, 1943 in North Tonawanda, NY, where he was a member of the Operating Engineers Union Local 463 and worked over 20 years for Haseley Trucking.
Jerry was also a 50-year member of the St. Johnsburg Volunteer Fire Department there. He moved to Arizona in 1986 where he started his own business J & J Excavating & Grading. Once retiring, he moved to Ramah, NM, where he built his dream home in the tall pines of Timberlake Ranch. He was active in the community and served as a member of the board of directors responsible for all road maintenance, repair and snow removal. His greatest love was his family and his hobbies included hunting, fishing and watching NASCAR. Jerry never knew a stranger, he talked to anyone and was loved by everyone.
Predeceased by his daughter, Michele. He is survived by his wife, Judy; daughters, Jill Pennington (Mike) and Stacy Smith-Mills (Mark); grandchildren, Shelby, Lacey, Dillon, Dalton, Ryan and Tyler; and sisters, Betty Brown and JoAnn Durick of North Tonawanda, NY.
Visitation will be on Friday, April 25th from 5-8 PM at Mountain View Funeral Home, 7900 E. Main Street, Mesa, AZ 85207. Service will be on Saturday, April 26th at 1:00 PM at Christ's Greenfield Lutheran Church, 425 S. Greenfield Rd., Gilbert, AZ 85234. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Jerry to Christ's Greenfield Lutheran Church.

Life Story


The world lost a beautiful soul, Blake Austin Chaffee, also known as Buford, 22, of the Town of Niagara, NY. He went home to be with his ‘Pa’ and his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on January 7, 2023.  Born on September 25, 2000 in Williamsville, NY, he was the son of Michael Chaffee and Deena L. (Marohn) Chaffee.

 
Buford graduated from Niagara Wheatfield High School in 2018. He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Bergholz. He was employed by KWH where he worked for his Uncle, Kevin Haseley, CPM, WNY Mobile Home and Jim’s Trucking and Paving.  Most importantly, because of his vast knowledge and kindness, at a moments notice he would help anyone with anything, be it a phone call or even someone stranded on the side of the road. He spent numerous hours in the garage with his 'Pa', Jeff Marohn, learning so many things.  His mind that never stopped truly made him a 'jack-of-all-trades.’

 
In addition to his beloved parents, Blake is survived by his brother, Gage (Lisa Dussault) Chaffee; fur siblings, Ryder, Ninja and CJ; fur niece, Oakley, who he affectionally called 'sunglasses'; grandparents, Brenda (late Jeff) Marohn and Karen Chaffee and Gary Chaffee and way to many special aunts, uncles and cousins to list by name.  He will be forever in the hearts of his family and friends, who he referred to as 'buddy', especially Chris Dingey, Paul Boyd and Jim Rose. He was predeceased by his treasured uncles, Doni and Bruce; his dog, Bailey; cat, Cashmere and so many dear relatives and friends.

 
Blake would not want you to be come dressed up.  Come as you are.  Carhartt's, jeans and work boots are preferred.

 
The family will be present to receive friends on Friday, from 4-8 p.m., at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007).  Buford’s funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 14th, at 10:00 a.m. at St. James Lutheran Church on Niagara Road in Bergholz, with Rev. Randy Kaminska officiating.  Friends invited. Everyone assemble at the church.  Prayers of committal and interment will follow in St. James Lutheran Church Cemetery, Bergholz, NY.  Flowers gratefully declined. If desired, memorial offerings may be made to Daniel Koslicki Memorial Scholarship Fund.  Professional arrangements are under the care of the Goodlander family.
