Heart Victim Dies at 45 In Hospital
North Tonawanda - William W. Witkopf, 45, of 7245 Nash Road, Town of Wheatfield, died Sunday (Jan. 9, 1966), in De Graff Memorial Hospital, where he had been hospitalized for a heart condition. He was a lifelong resident of the area and was employed by Remington Rand Corp. for 24 years.. He was a World War
II Army veteran and a member of the Gratwick Hose Co., Adams Volunteer Fire Co.
and St. Mathew's Lutheran Church. Survivors include his widow, the former Betty Rosebrock: a son. William A. Witkopf. a student at Orange County Community College, four brothers, Frederick Witkopf, Niagara Falls, Arthur L. Witkopf, Wheatfield; Alvin R. and Albert G. Witkopf, both of the Tonawandas; three sisters.
Mrs. Edward L. Bothwell. Mrs.. Raymond Regnet and Mrs. James Shingledecker.
all of the Tonawandas. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Fretthold Funeral Home. Rev. A. W. Moldenhauer officiating. Burial will be in St. Matthew's Lutheran Cemetery.
