died yesterday at his home, 278
Fredericka street. Born in Austria,
he had resided in North Tonawanda
for the past 83 years. He
is survived by a wife, Katherine;
a son, Jacob; two daughters, Mrs.
Harold Jedele and Mrs. George
Proefrock; five grandchildren, all
of North Tonawanda, and a sister,
Mrs. Martin Matalensky, Austria.
Rites will be held Friday morning
at 8:30 o'clock from the residence
and at 9 o'clock at the Ascension
church, Rev. Daniel Malloy
officiating.

Proefrock - Annamarie Proefrock, 82, of North Tonawanda suddenly Tuesday (Janury 4, 1982) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Proefrock was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church.

Wife of the late George J. Proefrock who died in 1977, she is survived by a son, Robert G. (June) Proefrock and a daughter, Mrs. Jack (Irene) Weiss, both of North Tonawanda, four grandchildren and two great-grandchilden.

Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., 1241 Oliver St., at Ward Rd., North Tonawanda this evening 7 to 9. Private services will be held from the funeral home Thursday at 10 a.m., the Rev. Thomas K. Spahn will officiate. Interment in St. Mark Lutheran Cemetery. Mrs. Schuyler was a past president of the North Tonawanda Senior Center. She was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ and was very involved in the Women's Fellowship. She was a 20-year employee of Ames Department Store in North Tonawanda. Her family and her grandchildren were the center of her life. She was the wife of the late Leaon M. Schuyler who died in 1992. Beloved mother of Mrs. Gerald (Barbara) Goupil, Sr. of the Town of Wheatfield and Mrs. Richard D. (Priscilla) Hellmers, Jr. of Kokomo, IN; grandmother of three grandsons, Gerald (Heather) Goupil, Jr. and Andre Goupil, both of the Town of Wheatfield and Jason Goupil of Ravenna, OH; and two granddaughters, Tabatha Hellmers of South Bend, IN and Naomi (Ty) Kendall of Kokomo, IN; great-grandmother of seven great-grandchildren. Mr. Proefrock was a lifelong resident of North Tonawanda and a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church. He was a WWII Navy veteran and a 58-year member of the Gratwick Hose Fire Company. Beloved husband of June (Fifield) Proefrock; dear father of Dennis (Linda) Proefrock and Carol (Kevin) Siverson, both of North Tonawanda; grandfather of SSG Jason (Angelina) Proefrock proudly serving his country in Iraq, Ariel and Megan Siverson, David (Wendy) Werth, Marc (Becky) Werth, Justin (Jennifer) Schultz and Eric Schultz; great-grandfather of Aiden, Whitney, David, Sheridan, Dylan, Summer, Lillian and Dominyc; brother of Irene (Jack) Weiss of North Tonawanda; beloved uncle many nieces and nephews.
