    Proefrock - Bertha A. (nee Sahr) Proefrock, age 77, of North Tonawanda, Saturday (February 27, 1993) in Amherst Nursing Home. Mrs. Proefrock was a former employee of Wurlitzer, the Board of Education and was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church.

    She is survived by her husband, Laverne Proefrock; a son, Marlin Proefrock of Wheatfield and a daughter, Mrs. David (Arly) Roberts of North Tonawanda, four grandsons, Guy (Regina) Roberts of Wheatfield, Paul (Jodi) Roberts of Wheatfield, Tom Roberts and Mark Roberts, both at home' three great-grandchildren, Joshua, Adam and Jessica Roberts; three sisters, Mrs. Sanford (Mabel) Verrall of North Tonawanda, Mrs. Lucille Wittkop and Mrs. Alfred ( June) Henneberger, both of Wheatfield and a sister-in-law, Viola Sahr.

    Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., 1941 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda today 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Tuesday at 1:00 p.m.; the Rev. A.W. Moldenhauer will officiate. Interment in St. Matthew Lutheran Cemetery.

    Bertha married PROEFROCK, LaVerne W on 17 May 1941. LaVerne (son of PROEFROCK, William Christian and FEHRMAN, Elsie) was born on 11 Jul 1919 in New York; died on 15 Apr 1993 in North Tonawanda, Niagara County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
