    Marion E. Schaffer age 92 of Wheatfield, NY, was called to her heavenly home on June 16, 2022 at the Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. Born in North Tonawanda, NY on January 27, 1930; daughter of the late Arnold and Christine (Eggert) Krull. A member of St. John Lutheran Church, Wheatfield; she was employed for 38 years with Early Childhood education at Niagara Wheatfield Schools, BOCES, and St. John Lutheran Pre-school. Marion enjoyed sewing, quilting and baking.Preceded in death by her husband, Myron D. Schaffer in 2009. They were married December 5, 1949. Also several sisters and brothers, Evelyn (Jack) Hanes, Loretta Dimond, Georgette Vaeth, Arthur, Erwin and Wallace Krull.Survivors include two children, Karen (late Dennis) Sattelberg, and Michael (Elaine) Schaffer; a sister, Doris Schmidt; four grandchildren, Mark (Brenda) Siegmann, Greg Siegmann, Matthew (Ashley) Schaffer, and Michele (Tim) Steiner; nine great-grandchildren, Julia, Danielle, Allison, Leah, Sara Siegmann, and Paige Parson, Evelyn and Christian Schaffer, and Aubriella Steiner; sister in law, Barbara (Elton) DeVantier; and many nieces and nephews.Visitation will be at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, on Wednesday (June 22) from 2-7 p.m. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Michael Borgstede, on Thursday (June 23) at 9:30 a.m. in St. John Lutheran Church, corner of Niagara Falls Blvd. and Ward Road. Interment will follow in St Mark Lutheran Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John Lutheran Church.
