Lawrence A. Neubauer, 82, formerly of LaSalle Ave., died Saturday (Jul 6, 1996) at St. Mary's Manor nursing home after a lengthy illness. He was borm May 19, 1914 in Niagara Falls, the son of George and Mathilda (Fritz) Neubauer. He attended local schools and was a 1933 graduate of the former Trott Vocational High School. Mr. Neubauer was employed for several years at the Kimberly Clark corporation, befor serving in the Philippines with the US Army Tank Corp. during WW II. He was then employed as a tinsmith with E. I. DuPont Co., Niagara plant where he worked for more than 30 years. He retired in 1976. A member of the former Trinity Lutheran Church, he served in various capacities, including elder and head usher. He also bowled in the church league. Mr. Neubauer was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church and the DuPont 25 year club. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Lily "Joan" Bond of Niagara Falls, a son Richard Neubauer of Castleberry, Fla., two sisters, Winifred Meade of Lyons and Dorothy Albright of Lewiston; a brother Richard Neubauer of Lewiston, five grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Krull, 97, died on September 3, 2013 at Ashton Creek Health and Rehabilitation in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born on March 14, 1916 in North Tonawanda, NY to Hulbert E. Fels and Marie (nee Fritz) Fels. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert G. Krull; and her sisters, Verna Ryan and Helen Prohaska. She is survived by her son, Jeffrey R. (Alice) Krull of Fort Wayne, IN; her grandson, Robert H. (Ozlem) Krull, and great-granddaughter, Allison D. Krull, of Palm Springs, FL; her granddaughter, Marla K. Peters, and great-grandson, Alexander S. Peters, of Fort Wayne, I. She is also survived by her nephew, Michael N. Ryan, and his son, Sean; her niece, Bonita M. Ryan; her nephew, Joseph P. (Denise) Prohaska, and their sons, Michael and Jeffrey; her niece, Nina (Smith) Randall; and her nephew, David Smith. After the death of her husband, she owned Krull Coal Oil Co. and Payne Avenue Supply, Inc. Later she worked for the North Tonawanda Board of Education and then for Marine Midland Bank. She was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in North Tonawanda, where she sang in the choir, served in the Ladies' Aid Society, and taught Sunday School to young children for more than thirty-five years. She was deeply loved by her family, and her friendliness and positive attitude endeared her to everyone she met. Her life provided an example of kindness and generosity to all those who knew and loved her. We will always remember her: Mom, Ruthie, Grandma, Nana, Aunt Ruth. Donald Wurl of North Tonawanda passed away on June 7, 2017 at the age of 78. Don graduated from North Tonawanda Senior High School where he excelled in sports, winning the Niagara Frontier League points title as a HB for the football team. He was also an avid bowler and had many 700 game series and one perfect 300 game. He loved the game of golf too and could always be found during the summer months playing a round at Deerwood. 
Don worked at the N. Tonawanda Public works as a Foreman for 35 years. His employment with the city was put on hold for two years as he served in the Army.
He was a volunteer fireman at Rescue Fire Hall, and lifelong member there for 58 years. Don also was a member of the American Legion. Additionally, after his first battle with throat cancer he became a volunteer driver for Roswell Park shuttling patients to and from their appointments. 
Donald is survived by his 4 children Andrew (Tracie) Wurl, Alan (Kathy) Wurl, Nicholas Wurl, Charles Wurl; His sister Dolores (Wurl) Ackerman, 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, and was proceeded by his wife Carole (Waliszewski) Wurl and brother Douglas Wurl.
There will be a Memorial service at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 453 Old Falls Blvd, N. Tonawanda at 3:00 PM Friday June 16. Immediately following there will be a reception at Sweeney Hose Fire Station, 499 Zimmerman St, N. Tonawanda. 
If desired, contributions can be made to either St. Paul Lutheran church or Roswell Park.

June 1, 1964 - January 3, 2021. Passed away in the comfort of his own home surrounded by family, under the care of hospice. Welcomed into heaven by parents Donald and Carol Wurl; survived by his wife, Tracie (McCullough); children Ashley (Andrew) Knoell, Megan (Joe) Henderson, Clayton "Boots" Wurl; grandchildren Jayden, Kyler, Hunter, Maddyn, Rexton and Macey, who still believe he is a shark bite survivor; loving brother of Al (Kathy), Nick, and Chuck; son-in-law of Frank and Anne McCullough; brother-in-law of Terri, Frank and Moose (Lori). He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and great friends. Andy was a member of American Legion post #1451 where he could be found making and serving his world-famous chowder, also a member of The Friendly Bobcats. Andy aka "Natty Daddy" was a fun, loving guy "chicks digged him, fish feared him." You could always find him in his man cave having a beer, watching the Bills play, listening to country music or working on his magic tricks. Captain Andy was a legend in the Outer Banks, fishing at all hours, rescuing sea turtles, and befriending everyone in his path. Andy's most proud achievement in life was marrying his wife Tracie, who supported him in all his glory during his heyday and lovingly supported him during their last days together. We will hold a Celebration of Life ceremony at a later date for his many friends and family.
