    lifelong resident was emploved at.
    the Wurlitzer company's plant, a
    short distance from his home, and
    worked there for the last time
    Tuesday. He complained of not
    feeling well and remained home
    Wednesday His mother discovered
    him dead. The Rev Theophil Berner
    will conduct the services and
    interment will be in St. Martins
    cemetery. He leaves his mother.

    Edwin, of Buffalo.

    William Broeker ten years old, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Broeker of the Witmer road died last evening. Besides his parents he is survived by two brothers. Edward and Reynold Broeker and four sisters, Elsie, Selma, Martha and Ellenore Broeker. The funural will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the late residence and half an hour later from the St. Peter's church on Oliver street, Rev. Mueller officiating. Burial will be in the city cemetery.

    Alfred H. Broeker, age 81, of Warsaw, formerly of the Tonawandas, died Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at Crossroads House in Batavia. Born in North Tonawanda, he was the son of the late William and Martha (nee Wittkopf) Broeker, and was an Army Veteran of WWII, serving during the occupation of Japan. A resident of the Warsaw area for more than 50 years, he was a custodian for the Warsaw School District, before retiring. He was the brother of the late Edward, William and Reynold Broeker, Selma Galos, Eleanor Corbit and Elsie Bennett.
    He is survived by two sisters, Martha Cairl and Caroline Russell; and a brother, Chester (Virginia) Broeker. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. There is no visitation. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at 10 AM Saturday, March 22nd at the Hamp Funeral Home, Inc., Adam and Seymour Streets, Tonawanda. Interment will be cared for privately at City Cemetery in Tonawanda.

He was a former employee of W.S.F. Industries and owned and operated C.A. Broeker Welding. He also volunteered for the North Tonawanda Food Pantry. Beloved husband of Virginia (Schlade) Broeker. Dear father of Cheryl (Gary) Hall, Laura (Greg) Bloomfield, Jennifer (Robert) Glatz, and Jonathan (Sheila) Broeker. Grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Brother of Caroline Russell and was pre-deceased by eight brothers; uncle of many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc. 1241 Oliver St., at Ward Rd., in North Tonawanda on Wednesday from 1:00 – 4:00 P.M., prayers will be said at the funeral home beginning at 4:00 P.M., interment will take place in Acacia Park Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, the former Lynne Neville; two daughters, Shannon Williams of Bossier, La., and Keri Haas of Newfane; two brothers, Ray of Atlanta, and Randall of Sanborn; and four grandchildren.
