International Paper Plant Employe Passes
TONAWANDA, Sept., 22 - Fred W. Boehnke, 57. of 421 Broad street, died at the DeGraff Memorial hospital Saturday afternoon after a brief illness. Born in Lockport, he had resided in the Tonawandas the last 35 years. He was employed as a millwright by the International Paper company at its Tonawanda island plant for the last two years. In former years he was employed by the Columbus McKinnon Chain company for 18 years. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Agnes Winter Boehnke; a son, Oscar Boehnke, of Buffalo; two daughters, Mrs. Howard Haseley, of Lockport, and Mrs. John Carleton, of Kenmore; four sisters, Mrs. Herman Donner, of Royalton, Mrs. Pauline Traub, Mrs. Ferdinand Hess and Mrs. Warren Cunningham, of Niagara Falls, and a granddaughter, Jane E. Haseley, of Lockport. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 p. m. at the Hilliard funeral home, 147 Delaware street. The Rev. Stanley Boughton will officiate and Interment will be in Cold Springs cemetery, Lockport

BOEHNKE - Oscar K. Boehnke, Feb 5, 1974, of Buffalo, N.Y. Beloved husband, of Gertrude R. Kuhn Boehnke; father of Barbara A. Boehnke; brother of Mrs. John (Erma) Carlton of North Tonawanda. Mr. Boehnke was a member of Sutherland Lodge No. 826, F&AM, and a past commander of Kensington Post 708, American Legion. Friends received at the Marvin E. Malzan Funeral Home, 1520 Kensington Ave., Buffalo, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. Friends invited. The family will be present 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. (5-6).

LOCKPORT - Mrs. Rosella Haseley, 50, of 54 Bridlewood Drive, this city died unexpectedly Friday (Jan. 24, 1964) in Meyer Memorial 'Hospital, Buffalo. Born Sept. 19, 1913, in Tonawanda, she was the daughter of Fred and Agnes Winters Boehnke. A resident of this city for many years, she was employed at Harrison Radiator Division, General Motors for 10 years. She was a member of First Presbyter Church and the Women's Association of that church. Surviving are her husband, Howard Haseley; a .daughter, Mrs. Arthur (Jane) Korff Jr., Saugerties; two grandchildren, a brother, Oscar Boehnke, Buffalo; a sister, Mrs. John R. (Irma) Carleton, North Tonawanda, and a niece. Friends may call tonight and Sunday at the Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home. A service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in First Presbyterian Church. Rev. James Westhafer, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Cold Springs Cemetery.
