    Sanborn Area Farmer Dies
    SANBORN William E. L. Bufflen. 83, a Saunders Settlement Rd. farmer, died Monday (Sept. 21, 1959) at Ransomville General Hospital after an illness of seven months. A native of Cambria, Mr. Bufflen lived here most of his life. He was a farmer most of his life also but at one time did maintenance work for the State Highway Department. He was a member of the Maccabees Lodge. Surviving are a stepdaughter, Mrs. Howard Lewis, Niagara Falls, and three nieces, Edna M. Hasley, Niagara Falls, and Maude E. Hasley and Estelle K. Hasley of Los Angeles. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Pike and Jones Funeral Home by the Rev. W. Donald Housser, Burial will be in Wheatfield Cemetery.

    Former Falls Woman Dies
    Funeral services will be held here Saturday for Maude E. Hasley, of Bell, Calif., who
    died unexpectedly Friday (Feb. 3, 1961) at Los Angeles, Calif. A former resident of this city, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Philip F. Hasley. A registered nurse, she was a graduate of the California Hospital where she was employed as a floor supervisor at the time of her death. Surviving are two sisters, Edna M. Hasley, this city, and Estelle K. Hasley, Bell, Calif. Services will be held Wednesday at Los Angeles, after which the body will be sent to Cobler's Funeral Home here where Rev. Alvin H. Butz will conduct a service, at 11 a.m. Saturday. Burial
    will be in Oakwood Cemetery.

    SANBORN - Edna M. Hasley (sic), of 2878 Saunders Settlement Road, died Wednesday (March 12, 1980) unexpectedly at home. A native of Niagara Falls, she moved to Sanborn 15 years ago. She worked as a supervising typist for the Niagara County Department of Social Services; She retired in 1963. She was a member of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church. She is survived by a sister, Estelle K. Hasley (sic) of Pomona, Calif. She was predeceased by a sister Maude E. Hasley (sic) who died in 1961. Funeral services will be held at the R.L. Coleman Funeral Home, 640 Park Place, Niagara Falls, at 10:30.am. Monday. The Rev. Shatzi Schmidt will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church.

    Until returning to this area, the Niagara Falls native had lived in Los Angeles for 30 years, where she worked for Bryon-Jackson.
    She also lived on Saunders Settlement Road in Sanborn and worked as a secretary for General Electric for five years in Niagara Falls and five years in Los Angeles
