    Expecting Body of Marine
    Killed in I wo Jima Battle
    TONA WANDA. April 22.—The
    body of Pvt. Robert Clare Shiesley,
    18, who died in a hospital in the
    South Pacific on March 14. 1945,
    from wounds suffered while fighting
    with the Third Division of the
    U. 8. Marine Corps on Iwo Jima,
    will arrive in Tonawanda at 9 o'clock
    tonight. A telegram from the dis^
    tributlon Center in Columbus, O.. to
    his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lester
    Shiesley of 64 Cleveland avenue yesterday
    conveyed this information.
    A graduate of the Tonawanda
    high school and a member of the
    school football team. Pvt. Shiesley
    was employed at the Columbus Mc-
    Kinnon Chain Company's plant at
    Fillmore avenue and Fremont street
    when he entered the U. S. Marines.
