    Albert G. Gross, 85, of 8817 Pear avenue, LaSalle, died Thursday night in Memorail Hospital, Niagara Falls. He was born in Germany, and came to live in LaSalle many years ago. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Louis Roloff of Tonawanda, Mrs. George Strasburg and Miss Emma Grose of LaSalle; one son, Otto F. Grose of North Tonawanda; one sister, Mrs. Fred Krueger of Niagara, North Dakota; one brother, August Grose of Parkers Prairie, Minnesota; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the home, with services at 2:30 p.m. in Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, LaSalle. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Niagara Falls.

    Arlene A. Luick, 77, who worked as a stenographer at Bell Aerospace Textron, Wheatfield, for 40 years, died Monday (Nov. 12, 2001) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, after a brief illness.
    Born Arlene Strasburg in Niagara Falls, she was a graduate of LaSalle High School.
    She retired in 1986 from Bell Aerospace.
    Mrs. Luick was a lifelong member of Grace Lutheran Church and was a member of the Bell Aerospace Girls Club and its Quarter Century Club.
    Her husband of 49 years, Earl E., died in 2000.
    Survivors include a daughter, Kathy Majka of Niagara Falls; a brother, Earl Strasburg of Niagara Falls; a sister, Gladys Beningo of Spring Hill, Fla.; and two grandsons.
    Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Thursday in Grace Church, 716 Cayuga Drive. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston

    NIAGARA FALLS - Earl M. Strasburg, a retired traffic controller for Occidental Chemical Corp., died Sunday in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center after a brief illness. He was 77. He was born in Niagara Falls and attended local schools. Mr. Strasburg was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. He was a former member of the LaSalle Yacht Club. His wife, Jane Kilmer Strasburg, died in 2002. Surviving are a daughter, LuAnn Via of Chicago, and a sister, Gladys Beningo of Spring Hill, Fla. A memorial service will be held at 9:30 A.M. Saturday in the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, Bergholz. Burial will be in Acacia Park Cemetery, Pendleton.

    Gladys A. (Strasburg) Beningo, 92, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on May 2, 2022 at Schoellkopf Health Care Center.  Born on September 13, 1929 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late George and Anna (Grose) Strasburg and the wife of the late Raymond Beningo.

     
    Gladys graduated from LaSalle High School in 1947.  She earned her Bachelors Degree in 1951 and her Masters Degree in 1958, both in Elementary Education.  She was employed as a school teacher for Huth Road School in the Grand Island School District, retiring in 1985.  Following her retirement, Gladys and her husband moved to Springhill, FL until Raymond passed away in 2015.  She came back to Niagara Falls to be with her family. Gladys was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Niagara Falls. 

     
    Gladys is survived by nieces and nephews; LuAnn (Tom) Via, Kathy (James Sikorski) Majka, Allan Strasburg, Laura Sutton, Heidi (Paul) Mollo, Karyn Beningo and Steven Beningo and several great and great-great-nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by siblings, Allan Strasburg, Arlene Luick, Earl Strasburg and Wray Strasburg.

Kevin was an avid outdoorsman, he loved hiking in the woods, hunting, and fishing. He was a member of the Niagara Frontier Orchid Society and won many ribbons for his Orchids. Kevin loved birds and he owned many of them, birds gave him a sense of peace and happiness. Beloved son of Kathleen (nee Magorian) Grose and the late Kenneth Grose. Father of James Grose and Marea Grose. Brother of Keith Grose and Kenneth (Ronda) Grose. Uncle of Ryan Morrison and Ralynn Morrison.
    Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc. 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda on Saturday from 4:00 – 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home beginning at 7:00 PM. Due to current circumstances, social distancing and masks will be required to adhere with current regulations.
