    Helen Clare passed away January 20, 2010 in Odd Fellows and Rebekah Health Care Facility. Born April 28, 1923 in Lockport, she was the daughter of Raymond and Florence (Andrus) Stowell. She enjoyed gardening and playing BINGO. Helen was predeceased by her husband, Irving Clare. Helen is survived by her three daughters, Peggy Kraus, Sally (Anthony) Southard, both of Lockport and F. Elizabeth Stoll of South Carolina; grandmother of two and great-grandmother of two; sister of Elizabeth (Edward) Weinheimer of Sanborn and the late Dorothy Risebrough, Donald and Warren Stowell; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Friday 3-7 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 AM.     TOWN OF WHEATFIELD — Elizabeth D. Weinheimer, of the Town of Wheatfield, passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2010, under the care of her family and Niagara Hospice. She was born in the Town of Pendleton on February 6, 1927, the daughter of the late Raymond and Florence (Andrus) Stowell.

    Mrs. Weinheimer was a graduate of Lockport Senior High School. She was a production worker at Harrison Radiator in Lockport for over 18 years, before retiring in 1989. Mrs. Weinheimer loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, painting and ceramics.

    She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Edward F. Weinheimer; two sons, Donald (Barbara) Weinheimer of Shawnee and David (Rebecca) Weinheimer of New Port Richey, FL; two daughters, Carol (John) Pearce of Lockport, NY and Ann (David) Martinez of Ventura, CA; seven grandchildren, Richard, Jeffrey, Tina, Mary, Jennifer, LaRissa and Lindsay; three great-granddaughters, Raegan, Peyton and Aislin; also many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Weinheimer was the sister of the late Donald and Warren Stowell, Dorothy Risebrough and Helen Clare.

    The family will be present at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, Sanborn, NY on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:00 AM, with the Rev. Ronald Lord officiating. Interment in Bear Ridge Cemetery, Town of Pendleton, NY.

    Notes:

    Donald J. Weinheimer  of Pendleton, NY,  65, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2019,  under the care of his family and the Visiting Nurses Association at Hospice House in Lockport, NY.   He was born in Buffalo, NY, on January 2, 1954, the son of the late Edward F. and Elizabeth D. [Stowell] Weinheimer.
    He graduated from Starpoint Central School in 1972 and Niagara County Community College in 1974 with an Associates Degree in drafting technology.
    Mr. Weinheimer was employed by Mesch Engineering, of Lockport, for 7 years and then as a contract designer in the Engineering Department at the Dupont Co. chemical plant in Niagara Falls, for 36 years.
    He was a member of the Shawnee Volunteer Fire Company for the past 41 years, where he served as chairman of the bar and Bingo committees, Assistant Treasurer and Treasurer of the fire company.    He was also Past Treasurer of the Shawnee Exempt Benevolent Assoc.

    He is survived by his wife of 35 years,  Barbara [Miller] Weinheimer, three daughters Jennifer Weinheimer,  LaRissa (Brandon) Mante and Lindsay (Matt) Moore, his beloved grandchildren Iris and Zander Mante, a brother David (Rebeca) Weinheimer, two sisters Carol (John) Pierce and Ann (David) Martinez, nephews Richard (Heather) Reinard, Jeffrey (Kelly) Reinard, nieces Mary Beth (Ian) Kesterson and Tina Weinheimer and was brother-in- law of Keith Miller and Maureen (Jody) Hand.
    There will be no prior visitation.
    Memorial Services will held on Friday, November 22 at 5PM at the Shawnee Vol. Fire Co., 3747 Lockport Road, Sanborn, NY. All are welcome to attend and celebrate his life.
    The family would like to thank Dr. Edgar Bassig of Crystal Springs Medical and Dr. Tomas Holmlund of the Dent Neurological Group, Niagara Hospice and all the caregivers from the VNA Association for all their help and care.
    Flowers are gratefully declined.   Memorials in his name can be made to Heart, Love & Soul  of Niagara Falls, NY, Niagara Hospice, ALS Association  or the Shawnee Volunteer Fire Co.
