    of Buffalo, N.Y.; nephew of
    Miss Grace Chase of St. Catharines,
    Ont. Funeral services at the Rhoney
    Funeral Home Inc., 1)24 Ontorlo Ave.,
    Saturday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. John
    B. Toay officiating. Interment In Riverdale
    Cemetery. The family will be
    present from 2-5 ond 7-9 p.m.

    Dies at 64
    In Hospital
    Howard C. Chase, 64, of 510
    Jefferson Ave., died today
    (Feb. 23, 1967) in Memorial
    Hospital where he had been a
    patient since Feb. 15. He had
    been in ill health for several
    months.
    He was a native of Buffalo
    and had lived in this city for
    the last 30 years. He was a retired
    appliance salesman and
    had worked for Sears Roebuck
    Co. and the old Elderfield-
    Hartshorn H a r d w a re
    Corp.
    He had also worked during
    World War II for Bell Aircraft
    Corp.
    He was a musician in earlier
    years and had played in
    several area orchestras both
    here and in Buffalo. He was
    also a champion handball
    player for many years, and
    was active in the handball
    tournaments at the YMCA.
    He is survived by his wife,
    Vera; four stepchildren, Mrs.
    Harrison - Snyder, Mrs. Howard
    Guthrie, and James Villont,
    all of this city; and Robert
    Villont, Tacoma, Wash.;
    and one sister, Mrs. Edward
    Geisendorf of Buffalo.
    Services will be held at the
    Rhoney Funeral Home Saturday
    at 10 a.m. Rev. John B.
    Toay will officiate. Burial wilil
    be in Riverdale Cemetery.
    Friends may call from 2 to
    5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
