KASPRZAK - Mary (nee Kotz) Kasprzak, 82, of North Tonawanda, Monday (May 27,
1974), at Mt. View Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. Born in Minnesota, Mrs. Kasprzak resided in North Tonawanda for the past 60 years. Wife of the late Ignatz Kasprzak; dearest mother of Mrs. Richard (Virginia) Roberts of Glen Head, N. Y., John (Florence) Kasprzak, Mrs. Margaret Denick, Mrs. Feliz (Florence) Pachla, Theodore (June) Kasprzak, Mrs. Mary King, Stanley Kasprzak, all of North Tonawanda, and the late Edward and Alfred Kasprzak; dear grandmother of 26 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. The family will be present to receive relatives and friends from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Skomski Funeral Home, 549 Oliver St., North Tonawanda, where funeral services will be held Thursday (May 30th) at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. from Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, the Rev. Chester F. Kotkiewicz officiating. Interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Christian Wake Services will be held on Wednesday evening at 7:15 p.m.

NORTH TONAWANDA - Prayers were said at 9 a.m. today at the Skomski Funeral Home, followed by a requiem Mass at 9:30 in Ascension Church for Edward Kasprzak, 52, 34 South Lane, who died Thursday (Jan. 31, 1971) at Veterans Hospital in Buffalo. Born in Minnesota, he lived in this city for the last 45 years and was employed by the R. T. Jones Lumber Co. He was a member of the Wheatfield Social Club. He is survived by his widow the former Dorothy Fauzey; two daughters, Mrs. Matthew(Linda) Pisarski and Miss Susan J. Kasprzak; three sons, Edward A., Robert and Michael Kasprzak, all of this city; his mother, Mrs. Mary Kasprzak of Ransomville; four sisters, Mrs. Robert (Mary) King, Mrs. Felix (Florence) Pachla and Mrs. Fay (Margaret) Dennick, all of this city, and Mrs. Richard (Virginia) Roberts of Minnesota; three brothers, Theodore and Stanley Kasprzak, both of this city, and John Kasprzak of Minnesota, and two grandchildren. Burial was in Acacia Park Cemetery.

Authorities Probe Death of NT Youth On Grand Island
Possibility that he may have died from poisoning was raised today by Erie County Medical authorities as they probed the death of Alfred Kasprzak, 20-year-old Navy veteran of 14 Miller street, North Tonawanda, whose body was discovered on the banks of the East river on Grand Island. According to Dr. A. Wagner, medical examiner, preliminary autopsy revealed no apparent cause for death, and therefore "there is some indication that death may have been caused by poisoning." Laboratory investigation will be continued, he added. The autopsy showed the youth had suffered no external violence and that he had not been swimming at the time of his death, according to the medical examiner. Kasprzak was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ignatz Kasprzak, of the Miller street address. According to Lt. Anselm Carroll and Deputy Ted Shook, of the Erie County Sheriff's office, Kasprzak's body was discovered between E. River road and the river, north of the Harvey road, by Mrs. Mabel Leibinger, of the E. River road. Mrs. Leibinger was quoted as saying she passed by the spot where Kasprzak's body was found on Thursday evening, and saw him lying face down in the bushes. Thinking he was merely resting on the riverbank, she paid no attention. Passing the area last night, however, she again saw the body and immediately reported it to the Sheriff's office. The youth served in the Navy during World War II, and received a medical discharge, according to his parents. He later was a patient at the Batavia Veterans Hospital for three months, being discharged in March. He was a member of Tonawandas Post 264, American Legion. In addition to his parents, survivors include: four brothers, Edward, John, Theodore and Stanley; four sisters, Mrs. Fay Dennick of Ira, N. Y., Mrs. Stanley J. Smith, Mrs. Felix S. Pachla of North Tonawanda and Mary, living
at home.

KING - Mary T. King of North Tonawanda, Saturday (August 16, 1980) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital. Mrs. King was a lifelong resident of North Tonawanda. She is survived by three sons, David (Gail) King, Richard and Kenneth King, all of North Tonawanda; two daughters, Mrs. Donald (Sandra) Johnson of North Tonawanda and Mrs. Allen (Theresa) Estes of Florida; two brothers, John Kasprzak of Wheatfield, N.Y., and Stanley Kasprzak of North Tonawanda; three sisters, Mrs. Richard (Virginia) Roberts of Glenhead, N.Y., Mrs. Felix (Florence) Pachla of Akron, N.Y., and Mrs. Margaret Denick of North Tonawanda and four grandchildren. Funeral services were held today at 10:30 a.m., at the Wattengel Funeral Home, Inc., 307 Oliver St., North Tonawanda, the Rev. Canon Alexander A. Corti officiating . Burial Elmlawn Cemetery. Edward A. Kasprzak

LOCKPORT — Edward A. Kasprzak, of Shawnee, Town of Wheatfield, NY, passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2012, in Niagara Hospice House, Lockport, NY.

He was born in North Tonawanda, NY, on February 10, 1945, the son of the late Edward and Dorothy (Fauzey) Kasprzak.

Mr. Kasprzak graduated from North Tonawanda High School. He was the assistant director of Emergency Management for Niagara County for five years and later worked for the Town of Wheatfield Sewer and Water Department for 15 years, before retiring in March of this year.

Mr. Kasprzak was a life member of the Shawnee Volunteer Fire Company for 41 years, where he served as the company's Fire Chief and President. He was an actively involved member and Past President of the Niagara County Fireman's Association and Fire Chiefs Association, and the Western New York Volunteer Fireman's Association. He was a committee member and Sergeant at Arms with the New York State Association of Fire Chiefs and a member of the Fireman's Association of the State of New York.

He was a member of Niagara Falls Harley's Owners Group (HOG) and St. Paul's United Church of Christ of Shawnee.

Mr. Kasprzak enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, gardening, riding his Harley, woodworking and bowling.

He is survived by his loving family: his wife of 46 years, Linda L. (Rule) Kasprzak; one son, Marc E. (Kelly) Kasprzak; one daughter, Wende M. (David) Schimschack, both of the Town of Wheatfield; two grandchildren, Joshua and Noah Kasprzak, and was anticipating the arrival of his third grandchild; one brother, Michael (Patti) Kasprzak; two sisters, Linda (Paul) Eichler and Susan (Philip) Czechorowski; one sister-in-law, Bobbi Kasprzak. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Kasprzak was the brother of the late Robert Kasprzak.

The family will be present on Tuesday from 7-9 PM and on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM, at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY. The Shawnee Fire Co. will have a memorial service on Tuesday at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM at St. Paul's United Church of Christ - Shawnee, 3921 Mapleton Road, North Tonawanda, NY, with Rev. Ronald Lord officiating. Memorials may be made in his name to the Shawnee Volunteer Fire Company or to Niagara Hospice. Inurnment in Wheatfield Cemetery, Town of Wheatfield, NY.

Ronald A. Denick, 64, of Lewiston, formerly of North Tonawanda, Tuesday (January 15, 2013). Mr. Denick was born in Fulton, NY on September 16, 1948 to Fay and Margaret (Kasprzak) Denick. Ronald was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, owner of a bar and restaurant, the Party Time Caf, avid outdoorsman and volleyball player. He also enjoyed chowder parties, canoeing, camping and movies.
Ronald is survived by his children, Cindi and Jenny Denick; fianc of Adrienne Wolf; former husband of Roberta Pfeil; brother of Richard (Marcia Kisiel) Denick, Patti (Gerald) Dome, the late Terry and Michael Denick; grandfather of Amaya Woods, Colby and Dante Moultrie. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
