Benjamin H. Swain.
T h e funeral of the late Benjamin H.Swain occurred at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon from the family home on South avenue . Rev. F. W., Norton of the Church of Christ officiated. About 10 members of Whirlpool Lodge No. 19, 'A.O.U. W . of which the deceased was a member, attended in a body. At Oakwood cemetery, where the interment was made, the funeral rites of the A.O.U.W. were pronounced. David Young and John Schumacher officiated The pall bearers wee chosen from the members of the A.O.U.W.

SWAIN—At his home. 1642 Cleveland avenue, Dec. 5, 1931, Chauncey L. Swain, aged 74 years; husband of Fanny, father of Mrs. Henry L. Yngve, brother of Mrs.Florence Suitor, Mrs. William Brown. He Is also survived by two grandchildren, all of this city. Funeral from the home Monday afternoon at 2:30 p. m.. Rev. W. O.Crofts officiating. Interment In Rlverdale cemetery.

Chauncey married BROWN, Fannie on 19 Feb 1891 in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY. Fannie was born about 1865 in England; and died. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Mrs. George Whilaker. .
Mrs. George Whitaker of Cleveland
jvetiue, aged 39 years, died at 9:50 o'clock
this morning.in the Georgia street hospital
in Buffalo, where she was being treated for
a cancer.
Mrs. Whitaker was a daughter
of Mrs. Benjamin Swain of South avenue
and leaves besides a husband and mother
a little girl aged two years, fonr sisters,
the Misses Florence, Carrie, Iva and Alice,
and one brother, ChauncCy Swain, all of
this city. She was bom near Guelph,
Out. The remains were brought here
this afternoon. The time of the funeral
will be announced later.

the Grldley Funeral Home. 750 Main

Whitaker Suitor, 88, of 1627 Cleveland
avenue,- daughter of a pioneer
family and lifelong resident here,
will be held at the Gridley Funeral
home at 2 p. m., on Monday.
Mrs. Suitor died late yesterday at
the home of her daughter, Mrs. Irvin
A. Hannam, 2484 Pierce avenue,
after a two-week illness.
Born in this city the daughter of
the late Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin
Swaim, Mrs. Suitor was a life-long
member of the First Christian
church here.
Besides her daughter, Mrs. Hannam,
Mrs. Suitor is survived by an-
other daughter, Mrs. Thomas Suitor,
Jr.. and a granddaughter. Mrs. Cosby
Ezerett. She is also survived by two
great-great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Jesse J. Simpson, pastor
of the First Christian church will
officiate at the services.
Burial will be in Oakwood ceme-
tery.
