Mrs. Arch C. Scoby, mother of Hal
Scoby, passed away Monday morning
at her home in Tonawanda after an
illness of several weeks. The funeral
was held Wednesday afternoon at
3:30.

NORTH TONAWANDA, Mar. 16.—
Mrs. Mary Swick Scoby, 75 years old.
wife of County Probation Officer Arch
C. Scoby, died today at the family
home, 41 Christiana street, after a
long illness. Funeral services will be
held from the family home on Wednesday
afternoon at 3:30 o'clock with interment
in North Ridge cemetery.
Mrs. Scoby was born in Wilson but
had resided ln this city for the past 30
years. Besides her husband she is survived
bv two daughters, Vesta, of
White Plains, N. Y.. and Mrs. Claude
Clark, of Cleveland, one son. Hal Scoby,
of Fairport, N Y., three sisters, and
five brothers.

she is survived by one brother, Hal A.
Scoby. of Falrport. N. Y. and one ulster.
Mrs. Claude Clarke, of Cleveland,
Ohio. The body will be brought to tho
home of the father at 41 Christiana
street, North Tonawanda, where services
will be held on Saturday afternoon
at 2 o'clock. Probation Officer
Scoby's wife died about a year ago.
