NEWFANE - Frank W. Sy, 81, of 6135 Ketchum
Ave., died today (March 17, 1966) in Inter-Community
Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Born Dec. 27, 1884, in Wol-
cottsville, a son of Daniel and
Wilhelmina Mahnke Sy. On
Dec. 15, 1906, he married Selma
Landow in Buffalo.
He had resided most of his
lief in Lockport, where he
was employed in the press
room of the main plant of
Harrison Radiator Corp., Division
of General Motors. After
34 years there, he retired
in 1952 and came to Newfane
the next year.
In adition to his widow,
Airvivors include four daughters,
Frances M. Sy, at home,
Mrs. R. Allen Rutland, Newfane,
Mrs. W. J. Thorman,
Lockport, and Mrs. Fred
Mathewson, Newfane; a son,
Clifford W. Sy, Newfane; a
sister, Mrs. Pauline Witcop,
Wolcottsville; 10 grandchildren
and five great-grandchildren.
Friends may call, starting
tonight, at the Rutland-Corwin
Funeral Home. The family
will be present from 2
to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held at 2
p.m. Saturday at St. Luke's
Lutheran Church here, Rev.
Robert Klingebiel officiating.
Burial will be in Glenwood

Myrna Yoder
of Wolcottsville passed away on June 20, 2018. She was born on August 17, 1937 to Melvin and Ester (Witkop) Raduns.
Born and raised in Royalton, NY, Myrna attended Akron High School and married Donald Yoder. She worked for many years as "The Lunch Lady" at Akron High School. Myrna loved cooking and cleaning for her family and had a passion for gardening; growing unusual varieties of houseplants and flowers which were proudly displayed throughout her home.   
Besides her beloved husband of 54 years, Donald Yoder, Myrna is survived by two daughters, Yvonne Poole and Cheryl (Robert) Smith; her grandchildren, Jonathan (Katie) Poole, JoAnn Hines, Michael (Holly) Smith; great grandchildren, Jamison, and Annabella as well as a brother, Gary (Carol) Radus.
A  Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2018, 11:00 a.m. at the Clarence Center Akron Mennonite Church, 11500 Clarence Center Rd., Akron, NY 14001.

Rock Hill, SC - Mr. Robert Allan Sy, 58, of Rock Hill, passed way Friday, September 12, 2014, at his home.

A catholic service for Mr. Sy was held at 12:00 Noon, Monday, September 15, 2014, at Saint Mary Catholic Church, 902 Crawford Road, Rock Hill, with Father Augustin Guzman officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.

Mr. Sy was born in Niagara Falls, NY and the son of the late Raymond and Elma Reimer Sy. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and owner of Comfort Systems in Rock Hill, SC. He was retired from General Motors and he was a former officer of the UAW. He was a member of American Legion, a craftsman and loved woodworking. He loved his grandchildren and they adored their Boppa.

Mr. Sy is survived by his wife, Judy A. Payne Sy; his sons, Matthew Raymond Sy (Tara), Daniel E. Ralyea, Jr. (Tina), and Christopher Ralyea (Becki); his daughter, Elizabeth (Eli) Kochilla (John); his brother, Bill Sy (Jody); and his grandchildren, Cameron Sy, Lyvia Sy, C.J. Ralyea, Robert (Bubba) Ralyea, Keeley Ralyea, Cecilia (Cece) Ralyea, Elizabeth Ralyea, John Ralyea, Victoria Kochilla and Lenore Kochilla.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Mary Catholic Church, 209 Crawford Road, Rock Hill, SC 29730. The money will be used for pro-life causes.

 of Akron went to be with the Lord on February 21, 2019. She was born January 18, 1959 in Batavia, New York to Donald and the late Myrna (Raduns) Yoder.
 
She was a 1977 graduate of Akron Central High School. After graduating, she continued her education and earned a degree in nursing. Nursing was perfect for Yvonne as she loved working with people and had a gift for serving others. She especially enjoyed teaching Sunday school. She also loved playing the piano and gardening when she was able.
 
A son, Jonathan (Katie) Poole and a sister, Cheryl (Robert) Smith survive Yvonne. She is also survived by a niece and nephew, Joann Hines, Michael (Holly) Smith and great niece and nephew, Anna Bella and Jamison..
 
A Funeral Service will take place at the Clarence Center- Akron Mennonite Church on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 11 a.m.
