SANBORN — Stephen R.
Taylor, 70, of 5543 Town Line
Road, a long-time resident ot
Niagara Falls, died today (Oct.
17, 1969) in Fairchild Manor,
Lewiston, after a long illness.
Born in. Cleveland, he. came
to Niagara Falls in 1921. He
owned and operated several
grocery stores before he began
working as a butcher for the
Loblaw Co., for 20 years, re-
tiring in 1964. He moved to tnis
community 10 years ago.
Surviving are his widow, Lillian,
a son, Richard L.. of Niagara
Falls; two daughters,
Mrs. William (Marian) Mussel
of Ransomville and Mrs. Kenneth
(Shirley) Geltz of Lewiston,
and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held
Monday at the Rhoney Funeral
Home, Niagara Falls, at a
time to be announced. Burial
will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral
home Saturday and Sunday
from 2 to 5 end 7 to 9 p.m.

Shirley Mae Geltz, 94, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully in Elderwood at Lockport on February 19, 2023. Born in Niagara Falls, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Lillian (Leisle) Taylor.
Shirley attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. On May 8, 1948, she married her beloved husband, Kenneth L. Geltz. Mr. Geltz sadly predeceased her on February 9, 2015.
Shirley was a faithful member of Grace Lutheran Church for over 50 years. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Mrs. Geltz is survived by her children, Ronald (Patricia) Geltz and Robert Geltz; her grandchildren, Stephen (Jenny) Geltz and Matthew (Kelsey) Geltz, as well as several nieces and nephews. Shirley was predeceased by her siblings, Richard (late Rebecca) Taylor and Marion (late William) Mussel and her brother-in-law, Richard (late Caroline) Geltz.
