Mrs. Amelia Bohlman, 64 years old, widow of August Bolhman, late of North Tonawanda, died at her home at No. 358 Falconer street shortly before noon yesterday after a lingering illness. The funeral of Charles Kriedemann, 72 years old, a former resident of North Tonawanda, who died Saturday at the St. Jerome's hospital, Batavia, was held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the home of his son, John H. Wendt, 444 Schenk street. Rev. Ernst Schneppe officiated and burial was in St. Peter's cemetery.
Mr. Kriedemann resided in North Tonawanda until taking up his residence at Alexander, near Batavia, ten years ago. He was a mason contractor while residing here.
Surviving are a wife, Louise; three sons, Gust Kriedemann and John H. Wendt, North Tonawanda, and Martin Wendt, Buffalo; a daughter, Mrs. Fred Proefrock, Alexander; 12 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a brother, Julius Kriedemann, and a sister, Mrs. Herman Acksel, North Tonawanda.

NORTH TONAWANDA, N. Y., July 30.—Mrs. Hulda Grose, wife of the late August Grose, died today at the DeGraff Memorial hospital, after a long illness.

Mrs. Grose was born In the Town of wheatfield and had resided In the Martinsville section all her life. Her husband died about six years ago. She was a member of S t Paul's Lutheran church and was active tn its organizations until ill health prevented.

She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Augusta Schulmeister, of Niagara Falls, and Richard Annis. of Cambria.

DEATH OF MISS BOHLMAN
After an illness of a liitle more than 12 hours, she died from heart failure.
Miss Lizzie Bohlman, aged 20 years died shortly before 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon after an illness of little more than 12 hours. Prior to the fatal sickness Miss Bohlman had never been under the care of a physician. About 2 o'clock yesterday morning she was taken with pains about the heart and Dr. McPherson was summoned. The pains radiated to the stomach later. Dr. Leonard was called to assist Dr. McPherson, but despite their best efforts, Miss Bohlman expired. The cause of death was assigned t o heart failure. Miss Bohlman was well and favorably known. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Bohlman of Schenck street. Funeral services will be held from the house at 3 o'clock and from St. Peters Church at 2:30 tomorrow afternoon.

Nash Rd. Man Killed In Auto Crash Sunday
Fractured Skull Fatal to Gustav Kriedemann, Mason Contractor – Accident Occurred in Buffalo – Drivers Lay Charges
Gustav Kriedemann, 52, of 837 Nash road, well known mason contractor here, was almost instantly killed yesterday when an auto, driven by his son Edwin, 24, and a car, driven by Dr. George R. Turk of 595 Lafayette avenue, collided at the intersection of Parker avenue and Amherst street, Buffalo.
Mr. Kriedemann suffered a fractured skull.
As a result of the accident which also caused painful but not serious injuries to Mrs. Marie Kriedemann, a passenger in her son’s car and Mrs. Mary L. Turk, 66 years old, wife of the doctor, both drivers were booked at the Central Park station with one complaint against the other.
On complaint of Dr. Turk, Edwin Kriedemann was charged with reckless driving, and on complaint of Kriedemann, Dr. Turk was charged with passing a boulevard stop sign. Neither driver was injured.
Kriedemann was driving north in Parker avenue and Dr. Turk west in Amherst street. The cars came together at the intersection and the impact tipped over the Kriedemann machine. The elder Kriedemann was thrown out landing on the pavement on his head. He died within a few minutes.
Mrs. Kriedemann suffered cuts and bruises. She insisted on being taken home for treatment. Mrs. Turk, who suffered cuts and also a possible rib fracture also was taken home.
Accidental Death
Despite the fact that each driver laid a charge against the other Medical Examiner Francis M. Kujawa announced a certificate of accidental death would be issued.
Besides his wife and son, Edwin, Mr. Kriedemann is survived by two sons William and Walter; one daughter, Alice; one granddaughter, Janis Kriedemann all of North Tonawanda; two brothers, John Wendt of North Tonawanda and Martin Wendt of Rochester, and one sister, Mrs. Fred Proefrock of Alexander, N.Y.
Mr. Kriedemann was a member of St. Peter’s church, Thompson street; the Bricklayers, Masons and Plasterer’s Union of the Tonawandas and the Eldredge Bicycle club.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o’clock Wednesday afternoon from the late home. Rev. Ernst Schneppe of St. Peter’s church will officiate and burial will be in White Chapel Memorial park

Age 79, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 5, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Jerald F Lehman. She was born August 10, 1942 in North Tonawanda NY, to Edward and Ethel Bach. She was a 1960 graduate of North Tonawanda High School. She married Jerry on August 5, 1961. She worked as a Dental assistant for many years and was a homemaker. She and Jerry retired in 2005.
After which they spent many winters in Clermont FL. The rest of the year at their home on the Niagara River. She was a lifelong member of St Mark Lutheran Church and taught Sunday school. Barb was a kind, loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with and cooking for her family. She is survived by her children Jeffrey (Marilyn),
Michael (Susan), and Scott (Nicole Tomsen) and many grandchildren; Jordan, Taylor (James), Matthew, John, Eric, Renee, Griffin, Madison (Kyle), Hayley, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Age 75, died on Saturday, November 16, 2019, following a lifelong battle with numerous chronic illnesses, most significantly polycystic kidney disease. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Paula (Romansky); his daughter, Stefanie; his son, Matthew and daughter-in-law, Kati (Jung); his granddaughters, Libby and Heidi; his brother, James (Carol) Doebler, and sisters, Miriam (David) Barton and Elizabeth (Edward) Rabenda; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members. Bob was born on September 4, 1944, in North Tonawanda, New York, to the late Elmer and Lois (Bohlman) Doebler. The family moved frequently in connection with his father's relocation for work. Bob delivered papers with his brother in Niagara Falls; worked on the family farm in Wilson, New York; and played football at Coraopolis High School. His family fondly referred to him as "Yak," which derived from a secret family language that he and his siblings adopted when they were young. He was introduced to Paula, the love of his life, by a mutual friend in Washington, DC, and was overjoyed when she agreed to marry him. She repaid the favor when she gave him one of her kidneys in 2001, which afforded him 18 additional years with his family. They celebrated their 45th anniversary earlier this year. A career student, he earned his medical degree, three master's degrees, and a bachelor's degree from State University of New York Upstate Medical Center at Syracuse, Harvard University, Carnegie Mellon University, Robert Morris University, and Pennsylvania State University, respectively. Even later in life, he was rarely seen without a physics or genetics textbook. Bob practiced urology for 45 years and was deeply committed to the health and well-being of his patients. He trained at the United States Naval Regional Medical Center in Philadelphia and served in the United States Navy Medical Corp for seven years in Philadelphia; Naples, Italy; and Charleston, South Carolina. He founded his medical practice, Valley Urological Associates, in 1981 and continued to serve patients in the Sewickley Valley until months before his death. His love for reading and learning was surpassed only by his affection for and dedication to his family. He was happiest when he was surrounded by his children, grandchildren, and dogs. Despite his surgery schedule, he rarely missed a lacrosse game, dance recital, or school play. Bob loved driving his convertible with the top down, taking long naps in front of a fire, and going to the movies on Friday nights. He will be missed. There will be a memorial service followed by a reception on Saturday, November 23, 2019, at 2pm, at the Edgeworth Club. All are welcome. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Planned Parenthood, Animal Friends, or Girls Hope of Pittsburgh. Arrangements were entrusted to R.D. COPELAND FUNERAL HOME, Sewickley.

Janice M. (Kriedemann) DeVantier, age 82 of Erlanger, KY, formerly of the Town of Niagara, was called to her heavenly home on January 2, 2014 after a lengthy illness. Born in North Tonawanda, NY on March 3, 1931 she was the daughter of the late William and Jessie (Thompson) Kriedemann.
Janice was a graduate of Mount St. Mary Academy in Kenmore and a former member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Walmore. Her interests included reading, assembling puzzles, Bible study, spending quality time with her family, working at the family business and was a devoted homemaker. She was predeceased by her husband, Bert A. DeVantier on May 7, 1995. They were united in marriage on September 3, 1955.
Survivors include two sons, Bert W. (Beth) DeVantier of Independence, KY and Lee G. (Maire) DeVantier of Falls Church, VA; a grandson, Aidan L. DeVantier; two sisters-in-law, Lillian DuBois and Edna Walck; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME (731-3234), 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield on Saturday, January 11th from 1-3 PM. Services will be conducted by Pastor Jonathon Haseley on Saturday at 3:00 PM following visitation in the funeral home. Interment will take place in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Wheatfield. David T. Kuczkowski, age 54, of Tonawanda, suddenly on October 16th. David had a love for cars, specifically muscle cars and Jeep Wranglers. He was also a World War II enthusiast. Above all this, David cherished his children. He was a caring, devoted father who loved his children more than life itself. He was very intelligent, a hard worker, and always the first to help anyone who may need it.
David was predeceased by his mother, Sallie Kuczkowski, and his sister Ann Kuczkowski. He leaves behind his loving father Tom Kuczkowski whom he helped to care for over many years. Surviving Jeff is his wife Julie Roloff and his step-sons: Luke and John Tyler both at home. Son of: Fredrika (James) Domske of Tonawanda and Jack Roloff of Austin, TX. Son-in-law of: William and Barbara Jamieson of Middleport. Brother of: Jill (Robert) Sexton of Austin, TX. Brother-in-law of: Vicki (Robert) Everett of Boston, Mass., Richard (Kathy) Jamieson of Gasport and James Jamieson of Middleport. Jeff is also survived by several cousins and many dear friends.
