LOCKPORT, April 19-Services
for Mrs. Lillian Argue, 73, one of
the founders of the Association of
Ladies Auxiliaries, Patriarchs Militant,
IOOF. and holder of the Decoration
of Chivalry Degree,' the
highest award given for outstanding
service to Odd Fellowship, will
be held tomorrow at 3 o'clock at
Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home.
Burial will be made in Glenwood
Cemetery.
Mrs. Argue, widow of Samuel T.
Argue, a former deputy under
Sheriffs James A. Campbell and
Ralph Irish, was born Aug. 28,
1880, in the Town of Wilson,
daughter of the kte Christian Cumrow
and Augnste Michaelis Cumrow.
She was a member of Plymouth
Congregational Church.
In.fraternal circles,° Mrs. Argue
spent most of her life In the services
of Patriarch Militant Auxiliaries
throughout New York State.
She assisted in the institution of
manv of these auxiliaries and was
lhe fifth president of the LAPM,
Department of New York.
Surviving Mrs. Argue, who died
Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock in
her home. 342 South St.. are a son.
