NIAGARA FALLS, Ont., Sept, 8.-
Charles E. Plnneo, 91 years old, a resident
of Niagara Falls for more than
70 years, died yesterday at the home
of his son, Charles H. Plnneo, Niagaraon-
the-Lake. Funeral services will be
conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2
o'clock at Morse and Son's funersl
chapel, North Main street. Burial will
be In Drummond H1U cemetery.
Mr. Plnneo was born In King's
County. Nova Scotia, and came to Niagara
Falls when he was 15 years old.
He conducted a gardening business herj
for many years, retiring from business
five years ago. For the past four yean
he had lived with his son at Niagaraon
the Lake. He was well known and
highly respected In this city..
He Is survived by two daughters, Mrs.
W. E. Crittle, of London, and Mrs,
Minnie Tooker, of Niagara Falls, N. Y„
and four sons.. Charles H. Plnneo. of
Nlagara-on-the-Lake. Daniel A.
neo, of Toronto, George and
Plnneo, of this city.

NIAGARA FALLS. Ont.—George
Bentley Pineo died at the Ontario
hospital at Toronto on Saturday in
his 59th year. He was born In Stamford
a son of United Empire Loyalist
stock the late Charles and Abigale
Pineo, and had resided in this locality
all his life. He attended the
Stamford public and hleh schools.
He worked for the Orand Trunk
railway for a number of years and
later was with Gay brothers bakery
For the past 31 years had worked
at the Ontario Power company. He
attended the Main Street Baptist ,
church and was a past member of
Cataract Lodge I. O O. F
He is survived by two sons. Regi-

of this city: two daughers Mrs
Howard Cauda and Mrs Hans Han-
sen. both of Tonawand. N Y two
brothers Charles, of Fenwick and

The body Is resting at the Morse
and Son funeral chapel where services
will be held tomorrow afternoon
at 2 o'clock with Interment in Lundy's
lane cemetery.

Asel M. Tooker, 31 years old, a member
of the city fire department for the
past 18 months, died yesterday In Memorial
hospital following an illness of
three months. Funeral services will be
held at the family home, 236 Seventyfirst
street, at 2 p. m. Friday with the
Rev. G. P. Hoyer conducting. Burial
to be in Riverdale cemetery.
Mr; Tooker was a World war veteran
and had spent most of his life in
into city, He is survived by hla wife,
Mrs. Claribel Ward Tooker, whom he
married June 13, 1928; three daughters
by a former marriage, Marie Gertrude,
ten years old; Anna Isabel, six
years old; Alice, four years old, all of
thla -city; four sisters, Mrs. Lulu Hartford
and Mrs. Caroline Taylor, both of
Savannah, N. Y., and Mrs, Phoebe
Lynch and Mrs. Alice Hannah, both of
tel» city; two brothers, Morris E. and
Elliott Tooker, both of thla city; and
his mother, Mrs. Minnie Tooker, this
city.
Many friends of the Tooker family
today extended heartfelt sympathy to
Mr. Tooker's mother as his death Is the
sixth to her family In tho past four
years, her father, Carl C, Pinneo, having
died but six weeks ago at hie home
on the Canadian side.

Clifford A. "Pike" Gauda 83 of Newfane, NY husband of Audrey (Fox) Gauda entered into rest at home on Friday October 6, 2017. Born in North Tonawanda on August 28, 1934 to the late Howard and Marion Gauda. Pike served in the U.S Navy from 1952-1956. He was a long time member of the Masonic Lodge and the American Legion belonging for 65 years. Pike retired from Chemical Leaman after 25 years. After a brief retirement her joined Ridge Road Express working for 12 year. He enjoyed speding time with his growing family. Surviving is his loving wife of 64 years, Audrey; a son Randy; His granddaughters Destinee (Matt) Henderson, Katie and Bailey; four great granchildren William, Bentley, Kellan and Maggie. Also surviving are his sister in-laws Glady Oddo and Carol (Al) Schnider and dear friend Michele Meli. Family and friends are invited to celebrate the life of "Pike" on Monday October 16, 2017 at 11:00AM at the First Baptist Church 6047 East Ave. Newfane, NY 14108. Gary Robert Gauda, 13, of
7303 Chestnut Ridge Road,
Town of Lockport, was killed at
5:30 p.m. Thursday when he
was struck by a car while riding
his bicycle near his home.
The bdy, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Howard A. Gauda, was pronounced
dead on arrival at
Lockport Memorial Hospital.
Niagara County Sheriff's Deputies
Edward Fusco and Paul
Baronich reported the driver of
the car was Douglas G. Kelkenberg,
18, of 9126 Hofert Road,
Gasport.
They said that the Kelkenberg
youth told them he was eastbound
on Chestnut Ridge Road,
saw the boy riding his bicycle
in the same direction and pullled
a little to the left to give the
boy plenty of room. However,
the motorist said the boy pulled
right, into the path of the car,
and he was unable to avoid
striking him.
Deputies said the boy's body
struck the windshield of the
car.
When the deputies arrived
Robert Lewis, 17, of 7310 Chestnut
Ridge Road, was administering
mouth - to - mouth resuscitation
to the boy. He is the
son of Dr. and Mrs. R. W. Lewis.
The fatality was the 26th this
year on rural Niagara County
Roads compared to 19 for the
c00|isame period in 1967. The total
fatality list for 1967 was 23.
Gary was born Dec. 27, 1954
in Konmore. His mother is the
former Patricia Machaby.
Before moving to the Chestnut
Ridge address this year,
the family resided on West
Creek Road, Town of Pendleton,
where Gary attended Starpoint
Central School. He entered
eighth grade this month at
North Park Junior High School.
Besides his parents, he is survived
by a brother, Scott Gauda,
at home; his grandparents,
Mrs. Earl Blanchard of Piercefield,
Mrs. Arthur Voelker of
Lavigne, Ont., and Howard Gauda
of Lockport.

Funeral Home, 156 Robinson
St., North Tonawanda,
where prayers will be said Monday
moming, at a time to be
announced.
