    Elaine M. Trippensee, 88, of Middleport, NY passed away peacefully on Monday, April 23rd, 2018 at Buffalo General Hospital. Born in Buffalo, NY, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Lulu (Winchell) Trippensee.
    Elaine was raised on her family’s farm, Trippensee Garden’s, where she became immersed in agricultural and floral design. She sold flower bouquets and planters at the City Market of North Tonawanda and other local markets. She was extremely hardworking and enjoyed spending time with her customers and friends.
    Elaine is survived by her grandson, Robert Mott; two siblings, Maxine Trippensee and Roswald Trippensee, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her loving daughter Dawn W. Mott and brother Royce Trippensee.
    Visitation will be on Saturday, April 28th from 2 – 4 at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, where funeral services will be celebrated at 4:00 P.M.     LOCKPORT — Dawn Winona Mott-Lester slipped quietly into rest on February 27, 2012 at approximately 3:00 AM at Kenmore Mercy Hospital, after a long illness. Born on May 8, 1955 in Lockport, she was the daughter of Elaine Trippensee.

    Dawn was the owner and operator of Trippensee Gardens in Hartland; beloved angel wife of 18 years to Louis Lester of Lockport; mother of Robert Mott of Lockport and Timothy (Lauren) Lester of Florida; grandmother of Teagan Lester; niece of Maxine Trippensee and Roswald Trippensee; and also survived by several nieces and nephews. We will always deeply miss you and we will always love you and you will forever be in our hearts.

    Relatives and friends may call on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport. Interment will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Memorials to the American Cancer Society, would be appreciated by the family.
