ADELAIDE L. BEECHER
Adelaide "Addie" L. Beecher, age 90, formerly of Sanborn, NY, passed away Saturday, September 1, 2007 at Niagara Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Niagara Falls, NY, after a long illness. Mrs. Beecher was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on April 9, 1917. She was the daughter of Albert and Marie (Hennessey) Pike. She was a graduate of the East High School in Rochester, NY, in the Class of 1935. She was a former member of the Sanborn Rebekah Lodge, the Sanborn Area Home Bureau and was a Den Mother for the Cub Scouts Pack #39. She also was an Avon representative. Addie enjoyed playing the organ, traveling and spending time with her family and grand children. She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Daniel M. Beecher, who died on December 30, 1995. Surviving are three sons: Paul (Margo) Beecher, Henry (Rena) Beecher, both of Sanborn, Thomas (Ruth) Beecher, of Tucson, AZ; grandchildren: Paul J. Beecher, of Murfreesboro, TN, Christine Beecher, Amanda Beecher, both of Sanborn, Danielle Beecher- Peter, of Chaffe, NY, Nicole (Jeff) Becken, of Kure Beach, NC, Eric (Jacquie) Beecher, of Sanborn, Thomas Beecher, of North Tonawanda, Jeremy Beecher, of Myrtle Beach, SC; great-grandchildren: Colleen York, Joshua Beecher, Terra Beecher, all of Sanborn, Jared Becken of Kure Beach, NC; step-grand children, Sean (Shelia) Kalota and Daniel (Robin) Kalota, both of Tucson, AZ, two step-great-grandchildren, Kristen and Hailey Kalota. She was the sister of the late Albert, Henry, Aida, Ethel and Frances Pike. Friends are invited to call Tuesday 4 - 8 p.m. at RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, SANBORN, 5893 Hoover Road, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 5th, with the Rev. Hal Faba officiating. Burial will be in the Mount View Cemetery Town of Cambria, NY, at the convenience of the family. Should friends desire, memorials may be made in Addie's memory to the Alzheimer's Association of WNY, 2805 Wehrle Drive, Suite # 6, Williamsville, NY 14221.

BEECHER - Paul Daniel Of Sanborn, NY, entered into eternal rest Saturday, November 9, 2019. Firstborn son of Dan and Addie (nee Adelaide) Beecher. Paul worked alongside his brother, Henry, at the family business, Beecher Brothers Oil and Propane, before and after his service in the Army. He joined IBEW Union #1249 as a lineman and served as President. Life member of Sanborn Fire Hall, where Paul served on the Board and as Chief. Paul was a member of the Sanborn Historical Society and Farm Museum. He was married to Margo (nee Goater) until her passing in 2016, just months before their 50th wedding anniversary. Survived by children, Paul, of Murfreesboro, TN, Christine, of Niagara Falls, NY, and Amanda (Scott), of Christiana, TN; granddaughter Samantha; many nieces, nephews, and friends. Paul enjoyed spending time with his granddaughter, Colleen (Kyle), and great-grandson, best-friend, fellow tractor enthusiast Chanse. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Farm Museum or Sanborn Fire Hall, General Fund are appreciated. No prior visitation. Christine A. Beecher, age 53 of the Town of Tonawanda, NY, formerly of Sanborn, NY, entered into rest unexpectedly on May 23, 2024 at her residence. Born in Lewiston, NY on April 22, 1971; daughter of the late Paul D. and Margo J. (Goater) Beecher. Christine graduated from Starpoint High School, Niagara County Community College, earned a Bachelors degree at the University of Buffalo, and the Disney College Program. Christine was employed at Pet Supply Plus, as a shift lead. She was an avid reader, animal lover, and a Disney enthusiast. Survivors include a brother, Paul T. Beecher of Murfreesboro, TN; Amanda J. Beecher (Scott Hurst) of Christiana, TN; a niece, Colleen York; and great nephew, Chanse of Niagara Falls, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to an animal rescue of one's choice.A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Arrangements were with the DuBois Funeral Home, Wheatfield, NY.
