died October 3, 1993 at Arnot-
Ogden Medical Center, Elmira.
Mrs. Halko was a life resident
of the Syracuse area. Her husband,
Walter, died in 1981. She
was a communicant of St.
Augustine's Church,
BaldwinsviUe.
Surviving are two sons, Walter
of Cornwall and Paul F. of Syracuse;
a daughter, Bernadine
Hastings of Horseheads; four
brothers, Vincent, Charles and
Francis Rozyczko, all of Syracuse,
and Edward Rozyczko of Niagara
Falls; a sister, Helen Rozyczko of
Syracuse; 13 grandchildren; and
four great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Giminski-
Wysocki and in St Augustine's
Church. Burial was in Sacred
Heart Cemetery.

Edward C. Rozyczko
Edward C. Rozyczko, age 82, of Orchard Parkway, Niagara Falls, died Thursday, August 1, 2002 at Schoellkopf Health Center, after a long illness. Born September 7,1919 in Syracuse, NY, he was the son of the late Julian and Josephine (Laskowski) Rozyczko. Mr. Rozyczko served 23 years in the United States Air Force and retired as a Master Sergeant and Crew Chief. Mr. Rozyczko served in World War II, serving his tour of duty in North Africa, Great Britain, Italy and Japan. Edward also served in the Korean War and was involved in the Strategic Air Command. Edward was stationed at Peace Air Force Base, Griffis Air Force Base in Rome, NY and for three years at the Niagara Falls Air Force Base. After his retirement from the Air Force, Edward worked for 20 years as a supply clerk for the Niagara County Department of Social Services. Mr. Rozyczko married his wife, Theresa, in Niagara Falls, NY on November 22, 1947. He was a member of St. Mary of the Cataract RC. Church, where he served as an usher and volunteered at bingo. Edward was an avid bowler, who belonged to the Niagara County Department of Social Services Bowling League. Mr. Rozyczko is survived by his wife of 54 years, Theresa (Birmingham) Rozyczko. Father of Michael C. (Linda) Rozyczko of Niagara Falls and the late Patrick R. Rozyczko, Brother of Vincent and Helen Rozyczko of Syracuse, NY, and the late Andrew, Anthony, Albert, Charles and Francis Rozyczko and Anna Halko; grandfather of Michael Rozyczko; uncle to many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Otto Redanz Funeral Home, LaSalle Park Chapel, 2215 Military Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 5, 2002 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary of the Cataract RC. Church with Rev. Michael H. Burzynski officiating. Patrick E. Rozyczko
Patrick E. Rozyczko, age 50, of Orchard Parkway, Niagara Falls, NY, was pronounced dead on arrival at the Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center on Saturday, December 1, 2001, after having an apparent heart attack at his home. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, on December 30, 1950, the son of Edward and Theresa (Birmingham) Rozyczko. Patrick was a graduate of the former St. Mary's Elementary School, a 1968 graduate of the former Bishop Duffy High School and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Niagara University in 1973. Mr. Rozyczko was a caseworker for child welfare at the Niagara County Department of Social Services in Niagara Falls for 16 years. Patrick the transferred to the NYS Parole Bureau where he has been a Parole Officer for the past 12 years. A member of St. Mary of the Cataract R. C. Church, Patrick currently was the Head Usher at the 4 p.m. Mass on Saturdays. In his youth, he enjoyed playing street basketball with his friends. PatrIck was also a model-railroading enthusiast and often went to model railroading exhibits held in Niagara Falls. He often enjoyed going to local air shows with his twin brother Michael. His parents, Edward and Theresa (Birmingham) of Niagara Falls; a brother, Michael (Linda) Rozyczko of Lewiston; a nephew, Michael Rozyczko of Lewiston, survive Patrick. Visitation is Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. at the Otto Radanz Funeral Home, LaSalle Park Chapel, 2215 Military Rd., Niagara Falls, where funeral services will begin on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mary of the Cataract R. C. Church, with its pastor, the Rev. Michael H. Burzynski officiating. Burial will be in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston.
