Grandchildren, KaraAnn Atwater, Elijah (Katie) Atwater, Lucas Atwater, Tessa-May Atwater, Alex Robinson, Sean Walker, and Jason Beltz. Great-granddaughter, Lacus Atwater. Brother, Elton Balcom. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother, Alan Balcom.
    MaryAnn retired from Medina Memorial Hospital where she worked as an RN in the ICU.
    The family will be present on April 1, 2017 from 10:00-11:00AM to receive friends at the Royalton Bible Church, 8457 Bunker Hill Rd., Gasport, NY 14067, where a Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM. If desired, memorials may be made to Faith United Food Pantry, 1449 Quaker Rd., Barker NY 14012; or to Royalton Bible Church, 8457 Bunker Hill Rd., Gasport, NY 14067.

    Alan B. Balcom of Medina, NY, formerly of Somerset, NY, entered into rest on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 in Buffalo General Hospital. He was born in Medina, NY, on October 30, 1949, the son of the late Russell E. and Jennie A. Quiett Balcom.
    Alan worked at Whiting Door in Akron as a machinist. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating and his tractors. Alan was a member of the NRA.
    Father of Jennifer (Matthew) McClaine of Alaska, Laura Lee (Chris) Rockey of Elma, NY, Adam (Marion) Balcom of Lockport, Angela (John) Keith of Barker, Shannon Balcom of South Carolina, Joanna (Jesse) Bailey of Newfane, Jessie Balcom of Barker, David Balcom of Buffalo and the late Deanna "Dee Dee" Derda. Brother of Elton (Carol) Balcom of Montana and Maryanne (Charlie) Davis of Jeddo. Nephew of the late Paul Balcom. Also survived by seven grandchildren.
    Friends may call at the RUTLAND-CORWIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2670 Main St., Newfane, NY on SATURDAY from 2-5 PM. Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family in Hartland Central Cemetery.
