NORTH TONAWANDA — Rachel C. Licht (nee Clark), age 100, of North Tonawanda, August 5, 2010, in Northgate Manor Nursing Home. Rachel was born December 6, 1909 to parents, Albert and Sarah Clark in Fayetteville, AR. She attended Weaton College in Illinois and became a nurse at Buffalo General Hospital in 1932. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. She was the wife of the late Willard Plant, who died in 1955, and the late John H. Licht, who died in 1993.

Beloved step-mother of John A. (Marilyn) Licht and Christian H. (Alice) Licht, both of Wheatfield, Donald N. (Jean) Licht of Jackson, TN, Gayle Reischel of North Tonawanda, and the late Doris (late Bill) Abbs. She is survived by 17 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 20 great-great-grandchildren and two great-great-great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late James, John, Percy, Florence, Pearl and Victoria. Dearest friend of Ruth Kureszka.

No prior visitation. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM from St. John Lutheran Church (Ward Rd. and Niagara Falls Blvd.), in Wheatfield, the Rev. Ronald Oravec will officiate. Interment in St. John Lutheran Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran Church.

Jeffrey John Robert Reischel, age 42 of North Tonawanda, passed away January 3, 2016 while in DeGraff Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. Beloved son of Jeff and Gayle (nee Licht) Reischel. Loving brother of Christopher Reischel; good friend of Jerry Riegle. Grandson of Helena Reischel and the late Robert Reischel, the late John H. and Alene Licht and the late Rachel Licht. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc. 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10 A.M. from St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 875 Eggert Dr., North Tonawanda, the Rev. Steven Naylor will officiate, interment in St. Matthew Lutheran Cemetery. If so desired memorials may be made to St. Matthew Lutheran Church.

son of Mr. and Mrs, William A. Abbs Jr., of 821 Rule Road,
North Tonawanda, is announced by the future bride's parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Donald Chriss of Pompano Beach, Fla. The bride-
to-be is a 1967 graduate of Lancaster (N.Y.) High School. Her
fiance is a 1966 graduate of North Tonawanda Senior High.
