Walter Glenwood Wade, formerly of Munson Avenue and currently of Virginia Beach, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at his home. He was 92. He was born in West Decatur, Pennsylvania on December 1, 1923, a son of the late Herschel and Mary (Myers) Wade. He attended Pennsylvania schools and then served in the United States Army during World War II. Mr. Wade moved to Niagara Falls and worked at Stauffer Chemical for 25 years and then at Olin Chemical from where he retired as a chemical operator.

Mr. Wade was a longtime member of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church.

He is survived by two children: John R. (Donna) Cooper of Virginia and Sharon Docteur of Minnesota, 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by 5 siblings: Josephine (Jack) Lengen, Robert (Donna) Wade, Lois (Irvin) Brydges, John (Helga) Wade and Alice (James) Helton.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his wife Mary Louise Wade (2015) and his brother Herschel Wade.

Friends may call at the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue on Monday from 4-7 P.M. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 A.M. at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 616 Cayuga Drive, Niagara Falls. Burial will be in Acacia Park Cemetery in Pendleton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mr. Wade’s name to St. Stephen’s.

Robert E. Wade, Sr., 88, of the Town of Niagara, NY, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 peacefully at his residence, surrounded by his loving family and friends, while under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born on February 22, 1928 in Philipsburg, PA, Robert was the son of the late Herschel and Mary (Myers) Wade. On June 6, 1953, he married the former Donna Jeanne Boyd in Niagara Falls, NY. Donna predeceased him on November 9, 2011. Mr. Wade came to Niagara Falls, NY, in 1942. Robert proudly served in the United States Army Air Forces from March 30, 1946, until his honorable discharge on September 13, 1947. He was employed by the former Stauffer Chemical Corporation. Upon their closing, Mr. Wade then worked for Airco Speer and later for BOC Edwards, in their shipping and receiving department, until he retired in 1993. Robert was a communicant of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Niagara Falls, NY. In his younger years, Mr. Wade liked to bowl and shoot pool. Robert also enjoyed word search puzzles. Mr. Wade is survived by two daughters, Joyce E. (Tony) Rotella and Theresa A. (Michael Belcher) Wade; eight grandchildren, Maryjoyce (Tom) DiPaola, Virgil Rotella, Sarah (Ron) Janese, Glen Bowen, Donna Bowen, Jason Wade, Amber Wade and Alexis Wade; and seven great-grandchildren, Jordynn, Aria, Wyatt, A'Niyah, Glen, III, Christian and Jaisen. Robert is also survived by four siblings, Lois (Irv) Brydges, Josephine (late Jack) Lengen, Alice (Fred) Helton and John (Helga) Wade; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by two sons, Richard 'Rick' Wade and Robert E. 'Rob' (Karen) Wade, Jr.; one sister, Charlotte Wade; and two brothers, Walter (late Mary Louise) Wade and Herschel (late Florence) Wade. Lois M. Brydges of Niagara Falls passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, July 14, 2019. She was born on August 13, 1932 in Philipsburg, PA and was the daughter of Herschel Wade and Mary Myers. 
 
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Irvin W. Brydges, her 3 children; Marygrace Bugay, Donnalee Singh both of Niagara Falls and Dr. Kenneth Brydges of Watertown; five grandchildren: Stacy Worczak, Jonathan Bugay, Davindar Singh, Heather Brydges and Justin Brydges; six great grandchildren: Alexa Bugay, Ella Worczak, Emma Worczak, Evan Worczak, Arianna Hansen and Avery Singh; one brother, John Wade of North Tonawanda and one sister, Alice Helton of Oliver Springs, TN and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers Herschel Wade, Walter “Bud” Wade, Robert Wade and sisters, Josephine Lengen and Charlotte Wade. 
 
Above all she was always a very loving and supportive wife, mother, grandmother/nana to her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed meeting her friends at the John Duke Center and on Facebook.

Richard L. "Rick" Wade, 60, of Wheatfield, NY, passed from this life on Wednesday, January 6, 2016, from injuries sustained in an industrial accident. Born on June 17, 1955 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of Robert E. Wade, Sr. of the Town of Niagara, NY and the late Donna Jeanne (Boyd) Wade.

Rick was a lifelong resident of the Niagara Falls area. He attended local schools and graduated from the former LaSalle High School in 1974. Rick was the owner and operator of the former Rick's Mr. Pizzeria in Niagara Falls, NY and was also employed by Carborundum. Most recently, he worked for Tonawanda Coke Corporation, where he was affectionately known by his co-workers as "Shorty". Rick was an avid Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees fan.

In addition to his father, Rick is survived by two sisters, Joyce E. (Tony) Rotella and Theresa A. Wade; one brother, Robert E. (Karen) Wade, Jr.; nieces and nephews, Maryjoyce, Virg, Sarah, Glen, Donna, Jason, Amber and Alexis; seven great-nieces and nephews and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He is also survived by his former spouse, Renee (Balassone) Wade; his longtime companion, Jan Lemon; three step-children, Lisa (Nick) Lane, Yavonne (Donald) Packey and Steven (Valerie) Grabowski; four step-grandchildren, Shane, Derek, Steven and Shanna and his furry baby, Cody.

Robert E. "Rob" Wade, Jr., 49, of Lewiston, NY, peacefully passed from this
life from complications with surgery, while surrounded by his loving family.
Born on January 21, 1967 in Lewiston, NY, he was the son of Robert E. Wade,
Sr. of the Town of Niagara and the late Donna Jeanne (Boyd) Wade. On May
14, 1994, he married the former Karen L. Woika.

In addition to his father and wife of over twenty-two years, Rob leaves
behind his children, Jason, Amber and Alexis Wade; one grandchild, Jordynn
Wade; two sisters, Joyce E. (Tony) Rotella and Theresa A. Wade;
sister-in-laws, Sue (Jack) Braham and Bernadette Ford; his furry daughter,
Sasha and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces,
great-nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to his mother, Rob was
predeceased by his brother, Richard L. "Rick" Wade.

Rob graduated from LaSalle High School in 1985 and also attended Niagara
County Community College. For over 27 years, he was employed as a
Mechanical Assembler for Edwards Vacuum, where he worked until his passing.
Rob was an avid Washington Redskins fan and bowler. In 2005, he bowled a
perfect game (300).

Visitation will be on Friday, June 3rd from 4-8 p.m. in the Chapel of OTTO
REDANZ FUNERAL HOME in the Town of Niagara, where a funeral service will
follow visitation at 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that
memorial offerings be made in Rob's name to the American Heart Association.
