    BARKER — George H. Brigham, Sr. of Barker, NY, husband of the late Sharon M. Johnson Brigham, entered into rest Saturday, January 18, 2014, at home. He was born November 6, 1944, the son of the late Howard and Elvera Winkley Brigham.

    George worked as a welder for Harrison Radiator in Lockport until his retirement in 1996. He married his wife, Sharon Johnson Brigham, August 21, 1968. She died June 27, 2012.

    George was a member of the FASNY, Somerset Conservation Club, Life member of Barker Fire Company and an active member of West Somerset Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.

    Father of Pauline (Bruce J.) Laubacker of Newfane, Mary (Joe) Burndt of Arkansas, George (Donna) Brigham, Jr. of Maine, and Amanda (Brian Hubert) Brigham of Lockport. Grandfather of Bruce (Kelsey) Laubacker, Jr., Caroline Laubacker, Braille, Van and Adorian Brigham. Great-grandfather of Tristin Laubacker. Nephew of Dorothy Pratt of Albion, NY. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

    Mrs. Schultz was a math and science teacher at Niagara Wheatfield Middle School for 31 years. She was a longtime member of Grace Lutheran Church and was actively involved with the Sanborn Historical Society.
    Jane was the wife of the late Harold F. Schultz.
    She is survived by her sons Douglas A. (Jeffrey Moyer) Schultz, M.D., Darryl J. Schultz and Craig M. (Jeanette) Schultz, grandchildren Maximillian Schultz and Miranda Schultz, brother Donald (Gail) Winkley, nieces Heather, Marla and Donelle and nephew Brian.
    She was the grandmother of the late Charles M. Schultz and sister of the late Marie (late Dean) Sherk.

    Visitation will be held Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY.  Funeral Services will be held Friday at 10AM at Grace Lutheran , 736 Cayuga Drive, Niagara Falls, NY.

    Interment in Wheatfield Cemetery.

    NORTH TONAWANDA — Marie W. (Winkley) Sherk, age 67, of North Tonawanda, Wednesday, April 17, 2013 in DeGraff Memorial Hospital, after a brief illness. Marie was a former Academic Advisor for Bryant & Stratton Business Institute for 30 years. She was an avid crafter and was a member of the Niagara Frontier Craftsmen. She was the owner and operator of Craft Boutique in East Amherst for 15 years. She was a wife of the late Dean E. Sherk, who died in 1998.

    Dear mother of Brian Sherk of Henderson, NV and Heather (Jerry) Goupil of North Tonawanda; grandmother of Regan, Sawyer and Victoria; sister of Donald (Gail) Winkley of Brookfield, CT and Jane Schultz of the Town of Wheatfield. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

    Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd., in North Tonawanda on Friday from 7-9 PM and Saturday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Winkley, age 63 of Youngstown, quietly passed from the loving arms of Tweedy Greene and her family into the arms of her Creator on Thursday April 23, 2015 in the Buffalo General Medical Center after a lengthy illness.Susan was born March 28, 1952 in Lockport, the daughter of the late Robert and Ruth (Bailey) Winkley. She was a graduate of Newfane High School, attended SUNY Brockport, and received her Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in Nursing from Niagara University. Susan worked as a family Nurse Practitioner for many years and received multiple service and nursing awards throughout her career. She devoted her life to caring for others and was a longtime friend of "Bill W."Susan loved the Adirondack Mountains, camping, and hiking. She enjoyed scavenger hunts, her pet cats, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren, nieces and nephews.In addition to her loving companion, Tweedy Greene, she is survived by her children, Malena (Timothy) King-Jones of Sanborn, Jesse Taylor of Mt. Morris, NY, and Saith Shine of Sanborn; a brother, Ronald (Laurene) Winkley of Lewiston; two sisters, Ann (Duane) Wruck and Molly (Claude) Brown both of Newfane; 6 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.     Jesse Shaun Taylor, 42, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2019.  Born on May 11, 1977 in Newfane, NY, he was the son of the late Jonah Taylor and the late Susan Christine Winkley.  
    Jesse was a graduate of Newfane High School.  He mainly resided in Newfane and Niagara Falls and most recently Buffalo.  Jesse was employed as a Laborer, installing hockey rinks and landscaping.  He enjoyed camping, hiking, fishing and hunting.
    Jesse is survived by a daughter, DesRee Taylor; siblings, Malena (Timothy) Jones and Saith (Stephanie) Shine and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
