    WINTERS – Leah L. Winters, 59, of North Tonawanda, Thursday (October 2, 1980) at Roswell Park Memorial Institute, Buffalo, after a lengthy illness.

    She is survived by her husband, Elwood B. Winters; two daughters, Miss Janice and Miss Linda Winters, both at home; two sisters, Mrs. Laura Kordes of Warren, OH and Mrs. Raymond (Margaret) Minnich of Kittanning, Pa.; two brothers, Leo (Helen) Engle of Timblin, Pa., and Otis Engle of Highland Mills, N.Y.

    Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd., Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Services will be held from the funeral home Monday at 10:30 a.m. The Rev. Dennis Wilhite will officiate. Interment in Acacia Park Cemetery.

    Leah married WINTERS, Elwood R about 28 Dec 1945 in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY. Elwood (son of WINTERS, Ernest and WATERS, Vida E) was born on 24 Jan 1917 in PA; died on 2 Jul 1998 in North Tonawanda, Niagara County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    TONAWANDA — Otis Warren Engle, age 87, March 1, 2011 in DeGraff Memorial Hospital. He resided in Northgate Health Care Facility. He was the son of the late Samuel Boyd and Augusta Engle. He retired from International Paper in 1985 after 35 years of service.

    Brother-in-law of Helen Engle; uncle of Jan Winters, Jeff Engle, Linda (Greg) Blundy, Debra (Paul) Phillips, Lori (Steve) Durante, Lisa (Randy) Raybuck and great nieces and nephews.

    Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda on Thursday from 1-4 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home beginning at 4 PM. The Rev. Richard Seefried will officiate.
