Mrs. Wilhelmine Jaenecke, 69 years old, died yesterday afternoon at her home, 968 Falls Boulevard, following a brief illness. With the exception of a few years, spent at North Ridge, Mrs. Jaenecke always lived in North Tonawanda. Age 101-peacefully, on December 15, 2021. Esther was born on September 16, 1920. She was a lifelong resident of North Tonawanda and an active member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, where she enjoyed the distinction of being the church oldest member, and the matriarch of the Kopp family. She was an excellent cook and baker, a championship bowler, and an avid golfer. She was also a master knitter and enjoyed reading and playing Rummikub, Scrabble and various cards games, especially Pinochle. Her love of sports was legendary. She was an avid Bills fan and watched all NFL and college games. She loved Nascar as well and attended many races, rooting on Jeff Gordon from the stands. She also followed tennis, golf and the Ultimate Fighting Championship. She began her career at Wurlitzer after high school and became a homemaker after marrying Harvey Loucks in 1955. Esther attended night school and received her certification as an Electronics Technician. She was employed at Moog Music in East Aurora for 9 years. Esther also enjoyed camping and traveling. She and Harvey traveled the states in a Winnebago camper for many years and were members of several RV clubs. They also traveled to Alaska, Nova Scotia, Switzerland and Norway. Beloved wife of the late Harvey Loucks; dear mother of Jan (Daniel) Krull of Ephrata, PA and Amy Loucks-DiMatteo (James Bishop) of Pendleton; grandmother of Matthew Krull, Andrew (Gayle) Krull; Rachel Bonfessuto; Brian DiMatteo and Blake DiMatteo; great grandmother of Dylan and Hannah Krull and Ethan and Lian Bonfessuto. She is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews. No prior visitation. A memorial service will be held at St. Matthew Lutheran Church. Date and time to be announced. NORTH TONAWANDA - Arnold E. Martin, 48, of 7010 Ward Road, Town of Wheatfield, died today (Sept. 7, 1965) in Veterans Hospital, Buffalo, after a long illness. Mr. Martin was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in St. Johnsburg. He was confirmed with the class of 1932 in St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church, Gratwick. He was a member of the St. Johnsburg Fire Company for 25 years and he was a former member of the St. Johnsburg Drum Corps for 30 years. Mr. Martin was a veteran of World War II, having served from 1942 to 1945. He served in Africa, Italy arid Austria with the 85th Division. He was a member of the American Legion, Wheatfield Post No. 1451, for 10 years. He was also a member of the Polar Bear Association of the 339th Regimental Combat Team of World War II and the Unknown Club of the Tonawandas. Mr. Martin was president of the Gratwick Saturday Night Mixed Couples bowling league. Mr. Martin was a carpenter. He served as building inspector for nine years in the Town of Wheatfield. He is survived by his wife Isabelle Krull Martin; two daughters, Gay Gayle and Pamela Ann, at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Emery Martin, Town of Wheatfield; and a brother, Robert Martin, also of the Town of Wheatfield. Obituary of David A. Richardson

David A. Richardson passed away November 5, 2020 in Buffalo General Medical Center.  Born November 1, 1935 in Lockport he was the son of William L. and Freida (Copp) Richardson.  David served in the US Navy from 1956 to 1958 and owned and operated Hobart’s Refrigeration Service located on Goodrich Road.  After retirement he started to install ceramic tile.  He served as past chief of the Clarence Center Volunteer Fire Co. and was a member of the Red Jacket Masonic Lodge.  David enjoyed his work, fishing, hunting, and helping others when needed.  He was predeceased by his brother James Richardson in 2008.
David is survived by his wife Donna (Harrington) Richardson; children William J. (Sharon) Richardson and Sandra Grossett Richardson; sister-in-law Phyllis Richardson; several nieces and nephews.

Andrees, age 93, of the Town of Wheatfield, January 16, 2014 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. Edward was born in North Tonawanda on December 28, 1920. He was the son of the late William and Florence (nee Heschke) Andrees. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the European theatre. He was the owner and operator of Gold Star Associates, Inc. and was a former employee of the Wurlitzer Co., the Metropolitan Life Ins. Co. He was a longtime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, serving as an usher and member of the Church Council. He was a member and past president of the Rescue Fire Co., a former member of the Adams Fire Co. and was a member of American Legion, Wheatfield Post #1451. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, fishing, vacationing with his family, traveling in his motorhome and dancing. He also enjoyed horse racing, playing cards, watching the Buffalo Bills and Sabres. His favorite thing was having a Manhattan for Happy Hour with family and friends. He was the husband of the late Arlene Ellen (nee Freck) Andrees for 63 years. William A. Andrees "Bill"Age 99, of the Town of Porter, NY, was called peacefully to his heavenly home on November 3, 2022, at his residence. Bill was the son of the late William C. and Florence (Heschke) Andrees, the brother of the late Edward W. (Arlene) Andrees and the late Virginia (Richard) Lemke. He was predeceased by his loving wife Dolores (Moll). He lived most of his life in the Town of Wheatfield and was a lifelong member of St. John Lutheran Church serving as Elder and Treasurer. He was a member of the Adams Fire Company and in the past served as Chairman of the Town of Wheatfield Planning Board. Bill spent most of his career in the automobile business as a salesman at Lampe Motors and J.C. Stevens and Parts Manager at Muck Motors. He also worked at Wurlitzer as a draftsman, at Curtiss-Wright during World War II on the P-40 and C-46 airplanes, and at Bell Aerospace as an Expeditor. Bill’s greatest source of joy and pride was his family. He is survived by two sons Gary W. (Gail) Andrees of East Amherst, NY, David L. (Marianna) Andrees of North Tonawanda, NY, and a daughter Susan B.
